We would like to make some automation regarding the internal shared directory.
Is there any way to do that with the RING EX API ? or uploading contacts with the csv file is the only way to do that ?

Can you share a screenshot or point to the place/feature where you see the uploading contacts for “internal shared directory”? With that I can check to see if there is an API for it or not.

Sure, it’s in the “more” menu and directory integration, “external shared directory” tab
In this section what we actually do is upload a csv file with all the contacts (we can’t do an incremental upload, a full is needed)

That feature is implemented via an internal API. I don’t know the reason why the API is internal but I will check with the team to see if the access right can be granted per request.
