We are testing the RingCentral embedded app in Microsoft Teams out before making it a company standard. We know many of our employees will have several Ring Central’s open at the same time to work off of.In Teams, we can open Ring Central it’s self out of the Teams app into it’s own window just one time. Will it be possible that can be increased to a few times, to where an employee can pop out Ring Central out of Teams so they can have one being calls, one being the Hud, one being Call history or whatever, so they can have them all available and not have to click back and forth so much or have to click out of Ring Central in Teams to their chat or one drive, and then come back and lose where they were. 

I have configured an Intune MAM policy and included RingCentral for Intune. I have an app protection policy including RC and all MS apps and have the app added to Intune (RingCentral for Intune > Google Play Store, not Managed Play Store). I’ve configured send org data to other apps is policy managed apps only and telecommunication data out to any dialer app.This is working for me on iPhone, SSO (Azure) authenticates against the Microsoft Authenticator app as broker and the sign in is completed back to RC successfully. On Android however, SSO launches from RC app to Edge Browser (in the MAM policy and Edge is signed in/syncing), some URL’s load it seems as SSO is approved, but it is not sent back to RC app, the login just sits on Edge showing a blank screen with URL https://login.ringcentral.com/api/sso/login? Thanks,

I setup an API in ringcentral dev that I’m using in a Microsoft Azure Automation runbook to execute an offboarding for a user I specify.  The first step we must complete is toggling the switch off for the MS Teams connection on the user I’ve specified in my automation.  How would I set this up?   I’m using powershell 7.2 for my API call. I’ve got my powershell script executing properly and disabling the user account, but it will not allow me to disconnect MS Teams connection which is what I need done first.  

Our company is currently using Acuity to allow clients to schedule time with each partner. We would love to eliminate that and just use Microsoft Bookings. The only problem I am having, is I can’t figure out a way to get Microsoft Bookings to utilize Ring Central video links instead of Teams. I have set it up on the backend of RingCentral so that it’s connected with my Microsoft account and Teams account but it still won’t let me change that. Has anyone done this previously and could tell me how you did it? Thank you!

RingCentral creates duplicate Phone Call Records in our CRM Microsoft Dynamics. It can be outbound, or inbound. One of the duplicate records will have a recording url attached to it. And another, not always owned by the person who answered the call, will have the call note mapped to the description field of an entirely different duplicate. The duplicates with have a duration of 0 minutes usually but recently they are NULL for duration. We had suspicions that it was related to a phone call record being created with every ring as it bounced through the cascade of available agents, however this doesn’t make sense in the context of outbound calls. The amount of duplicates can be 3-10 duplicate records and now has become even worse as the ‘mapped’ description could be in any of the duplicates created, without rhyme or reason. Has another customer experienced this?

Hello! Wondering if it's possible to sync Microsoft TEAMS status with ring central status. Example: A end user joins a meeting team shows in meeting. Ring central status is available still. Is this possible to make it sync with what teams' status is?

Hi,I am currently managing the Winget Manifest for RingCentral and I have encountered an issue with the current method of distribution through a static, or vanity, URL https://app.ringcentral.com/download/RingCentral-x64.msi. This approach presents challenges for Winget's verification system, which relies on specific file hashes to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the software being installed. Whenever a new version is released and the file at the vanity URL is updated, the hash changes, which causes Winget installations to break until the new hash is verified and updated in the Winget repository.I was wondering if the download links could be changed to add versions to the URL so each installer is unique. This would massively improve the Winget package and prevent no downtime between updates.

I am trying to using the SMS API with Microsoft Power Automate. I am able to get the API to send an SMS to my cellphone in Postman, but having a lots of problem getting it to work after I import it as a custom connector in Power Automate. Hello, I am wondering exactly what a PBX user license is...Teams tells me it is under a "Microsoft Team Phone Standard" license but I have 3 of those licenses availiable and it seems to show that it isn't syncing over to Ring Centrals PBX cloud.Is this just a Ring Central License or is it for sure the Phone Standard License under teams?Any and all help would be appreciated.

The typical notification that I receive looks like this one below:Currently for user identification I use name field. I marked the field that is currently used for identification. I need this information to uniquely map calling/answering agent with some entity in my system.So my questions here:1. Is it possible that two agents have same name in the system? In this case the field name cannot be used to uniquely identify agents.2. Can extensionId be used to uniquely identify agents? If yes, then where can I get the extensionId for a particular agent, as this information available in notification only and not in Admin Console (at least I wasn't able to find it there). Hi,We work remotely and use Teams all day on video to conference with each other. We are just signing up for RingCentral and aren't sure if we can also use the desktop app as phones, while we are using teams, or not? It seems to us, we will have to get actual phones and use them, since our microphones and speakers will already be in use. As we often collaborate with each other about the phone calls we are on. Is this correct?

We have a Microsoft Access / VBA application and was wondering if it would be possible to make calls, record those calls and store connection times etc via an API.

Our company has been working to find if we can connect Ring Central with Microsoft Exchange, we have been advised this cannot be done. It would make our work flow much smoother for meetings/phone calls.
