Using RingCentral and Microsoft teams at the same time

Hi,

We work remotely and use Teams all day on video to conference with each other. We are just signing up for RingCentral and aren't sure if we can also use the desktop app as phones, while we are using teams, or not? It seems to us, we will have to get actual phones and use them, since our microphones and speakers will already be in use. As we often collaborate with each other about the phone calls we are on. Is this correct?
