How do I create a detailed call report showing calls from the prior day with the messages left and what extension they were sent to? 

Are you a developer? If so, check out this API. Use the “dateFrom” and “dateTo” to control the time range and set the “messageType” to “VoiceMail” to read only voicemail message records. Parse the API response to make your report with any available metrics accordingly.
