Six months ago, we launched a new Developer Environment package to create a better and more sustainable developer experience. When we did, a significant number of developers were converted to a free 6-month trial. Now, many of those trials are expiring, and developers are finding that they have lost access to their developer accounts. Furthermore, when trying to file a help ticket, they're discovering that it's not possible without an active account.

When you speak with a representative, let them know that you require assistance in opening a case with Developer Support. Please use the following script:
"I need help opening a case with Developer Support. Can you create a case for me with a record type of 'Developer Platform,' and escalate the case to 'Dev Support T1'?"
If necessary, refer them to this article with these instructions.
Rest assured, if you have any public apps operating in production or within our App Gallery, they are safe and unaffected by the expiration of your trial.
