We have an application in the Developer Portal which was originally created by one of our users.
How does ownership of Developer Portal applications works?
Specifically:
Is the application owned by the RingCentral organisation or by the user who created it?
If the creator’s RingCentral account is deleted in the future, will the application continue to function and remain accessible to other developers within the organisation?
Main concern is if in 18 months or so the user who created the app leaves, we delete their account not realising we’re also deleting access to the app they made.
Thanks.

Registered applications are the resources of your RingCentral account. The app creator is the primary contact who can change the app settings.
If the app creator is deleted from the account, the app still exists and valid. In this case, only the developer admin can change the app settings.
When an app creator is deleted from the account, the developer admin can login the developer portal to change the app settings. The developer admin will see something like this:
And from the app settings, the developer admin can set a new primary contact for the app. The “Created by” label will remain as “Deleted user” though.
