Does Data API Pull data from Engage Digital?

I am currently using the Data API to access and delete customer data. I have recently added the engage digital product. Will the data API be sufficient to also pull data from engage digital or will I have to connect to the interaction API to access/delete customer data?

No, the external API you referred to is for the RingCentral MVP platform. So you cannot read the contacts from ED. I don't see any equivalent API for the Engage Digital platform though. Can you reach out to your ED account support and ask them about this?
