inbound calls filtering on Account Telephony Sessions Event not working ?

Hi Team, I am trying to filter only incoming calls to account and trying to use “/restapi/v1.0/account/${accountId}/telephony/sessions?direction=Inbound” BUT this is giving both in bound and outbound calls as Inbound in notifications. 

Example: 

- when a customer calls an extension account that call is recorded as in bound with TO address as account extension

 

-When we call back customer from account extension it is also recorded as in bound with TO address as customer phone number. 

 

any idea on this issue ?

It’s a leg event for the remote party. The system marks the direction as “Inbound” (even the “from” and the “to” phone numbers indicates an outbound call) to indicate that it is the other leg of an outbound call.

Unfortunately, you cannot suppress those session events from your outbound calls. You can rely on the existence of the extensionId field under the parties object to recognize it’s an event for the remote party and ignore it if you do not need any other info such as the status or the partyId.
