Retrieving Messages from the Message Store

I had a question. Is there a sort order for the messages listed from the message store? Will it automatically show the latest first? I was looking at the docs (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Message-Store/listMessages), but couldn’t find any specific information about it. Thank you.

The list message API always returns message records in descending order, meaning newest/latest message first.

There are 2 important filter params, the “dateFrom” and “dateTo” to list message records for a given time period. If these params are omitted, the default time period is 24 hrs back from the current time.
