We have been using Redtail CRM x RingCentral Extension for call handling going on 4 years. We’ve dealt with one-off issues here and there but for the most part, it’s work seamlessly. For the past 2 months we’ve started to experience problems - if someone calls the office main line, I answer then forward to the proper office extension, that office extension answers in the ringcentral extension within redtail, but cannot hear the client on the line. Now immediately after hanging up, the office extension can dial out to the client it works fine. Or if the office extension answers the call directly, no problems there. It appears the problem is when the call is forwarded. Important note: none of the audio/microphone settings were changed.
After we experience the problem, i will then test the same exact process, it then will work. Its extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
ETA: as of this morning I redownloaded the ringcentral extension to the office extension redtail. I tested it twice and it worked as intended. I also received a wholesaler call, and forwarded it, it worked as intended, no issues when forwarded. Now i have zero confidence this will stick… so if anyone has experienced this problem and or has a solutions please let me know. I have submitted tickets to both RingCentral and Redtail - both have told me it’s the other’s problem. Could it be a chrome issue? Looking forward to much need help.
