Unable to send SMS using Zoho Flow

Hello, I have set up a workflow with Zoho Flow to send an SMS based on the status of a lead. The SMS should be sent from the phone number of ANY lead owner/user that has changed the lead status. The lead owner/user has a ring central account and a phone number. However, the flow will only work for me, the person that has configured the wrkflow. For all other owners/user, I get this error: "RingCentral says \"In order to call this API endpoint for another extension, one of the following permissions [OutboundSMS] have to be granted with extended scope to the authorized user.\""

Why oh why is something that's so simple somehow made rather complicated by Ringcentral?
