I am trying to send a vcard through the RingCentral API and I have the send functionality working. The VCards send and make their way successfully to phone numbers.
However, some iPhones don’t show the VCF properly, but show as basic .vcf files with integer names.
I’ve attached a picture of this difference, some notes:
- I’m doing this on Make.com using the HTTP module with sends a basic API request with parameters (the CURL equivalent is attached with sensitive information removed).
- I’ve tried numerous vcard variations with no success.
- The phone number that receives the card successfully sometimes gets the vcards variations with the basic file name.
Anyone been able to crack this? I’d really like the name to show properly as it is a good face for our clients.
