For context, we’ve recently migrated our organisation from Mitel to RingCentral, and our users are utilising the Microsoft Teams plugin.
Previously, in the Mitel system, Reception could enable a “Night Mode” to forward calls to a specified location. In that setup, calls were directed to the Reception extension rather than a call queue.
In RingCentral, we’ve moved away from direct extensions for Reception and implemented call queues for better control. However, Reception is finding it difficult to forward calls—they currently need to log into the RingCentral portal, which involves multiple steps and is cumbersome.
Is there an easier way to allow Reception to forward queue calls without accessing the RingCentral portal?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
