How can I find out who the super admin for our community is? I inherited an account from the person who was previously in my position but it still has their name on my account but every time I call the support office they are requesting this super admin

If your current login has basic administrator privileges, you can easily find out who the official Super Admin is right from your dashboard.

How to Find the Super Admin:

  1. Log in to the RingCentral Admin Portal (service.ringcentral.com).

  2. Look at the top right corner. Ensure your view dropdown is set to Admin Portal (instead of My Extension).

  3. Click on the Users tab in the top menu, then select User List > Users with Extensions.

  4. Scan the Role column. Look for the person whose role is explicitly labeled as Super Admin.

That is the exact name Support is looking for to verify the account!

How to Fix This Long-Term:

Since you’ve taken over the role, you shouldn't have to keep giving your predecessor's name. 

  •  (If you can edit their profile): If your current login permissions allow it, click on that previous person’s name in the User List, go to User Details, and update the first name, last name, and email address to your own.
