Web version keeps logging out

I am using Ringcentral Web version and it logs out after certain period of time without auto-filling password so I have to manually put in password each time and log back in all the time. You should make the site NOT log out until the user choose it to log out.

You can adjust the time to stay active up to 24 hours. On the portal click on the Tools main menu selection, then select Session Timeout.

I second the above -- lose this "your session has timed out nonsense". For those of us who don't have a security concern, the "keep me logged in" should ACTUALLY keep me logged in... until I log out!! It's freakin' annoying. >:(

Mine doesn't have that option - all I know is it has timed me out 5 times today already and it is truly annoying..

Mine logs me out at times way earlier than the 24 hours I have it set for. It allows logging back in with a couple of clicks to the Google option (no password entry required) but the non-working timing feature is annoying as well.

My account logs out immediately after I sign in.

Hi @jenny1123

If you're getting booted back to the login screen immediately after signing in, the most common culprit is a corrupted cookie or a conflicting cache file in your browser.

Here are two quick ways to test and fix this:

  • Test in a Private Window: Try logging in using an Incognito or Private Browsing window. If it works perfectly there without logging you out, a browser cache issue is definitely the culprit.

  • Clear Cache and Cookies: To fix this permanently, clear your browser’s history, specifically targeting Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

Give that a shot and let me know if it keeps you signed in!

I tired again and still same issue. So I downloaded the app on my windows pc. I didn’t log in through the website I logged in through the app.  I used another ID to sign in and it was fine. My phone app is also ok.
