​@Sneuhaus I will do my best to help you, but a screenshot might be really helpful to make sure I am giving you the right guidance. But here is some guidance for you.

First, let’s be sure you are using RingCentral Embeddable, and not the RingCentral desktop app. So if you are using RingCentral Embeddable, you need to make sure you have granted your browser access to your microphone. The following instructions can help you do that:

Google Chrome

1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

2. Select Settings > Privacy and security.

3. Click Site settings.

4. Scroll down to Permissions and select Microphone.

5. Ensure that the "Sites can ask to use your microphone" option is enabled.

6. Under Allowed sites, check if the website you need has permission. If not, visit the site and allow access when prompted.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Firefox and click the menu button (☰) in the top-right corner.

2. Select Settings > Privacy & Security.

3. Scroll down to the Permissions section and find Microphone.

4. Click Settings…, find the site, and set it to Allow.

5. If prompted while on a site, select Allow when asked for microphone access.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

2. Select Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

3. Click Microphone and ensure that "Ask before accessing" is enabled.

4. Under Allow, check if the site is listed. If not, visit the site and grant access when prompted.

Safari (Mac)

1. Open Safari and go to Safari > Settings (or Preferences).

2. Click the Websites tab.

3. Select Microphone from the left panel.

4. Find the website and choose Allow from the dropdown menu.

5. If prompted while using a site, select Allow.

General Tips

• If you accidentally blocked a site, go to the browser’s site settings and change the permission.

• Ensure your microphone is properly connected and working.

• Restart your browser after making changes.

Next, let’s look at Google Chrome for one additional trick you need to know, especially if you are deploying Embeddable via a Chrome extension. To prevent Chrome Extensions from being able to play audio without a user’s permission, or in the background without direct interaction, Google Chrome requires a user to first interact with the extension prior to it being able to play audio. Embeddable should detect this and prompt you to click a button to “Enable audio.” All one has to do is click that button to enable sound (like a ringing sound) to be audible.
