Hi team,I'm implementing the findContact() interface in a custom RingCentral App Connect adapter. The function is being called correctly, and I’m returning a matching contact (with correct id, name, phoneNumbers, and type), but App Connect is not showing the contact.

Hi! I’ve been logging phone calls on RC Connect to Netsuite. Sometimes it works and other times, it doesn’t allow me to. There seems to be a disconnect between the 2 platforms. Can someone help me with this?

Hi team,I'm implementing the findContact() interface in a custom RingCentral App Connect adapter. The function is being called correctly, and I’m returning a matching contact (with correct id, name), but App Connect is not showing the contact Do we need to declare or configure anything specific in the manifest.json file for contact matching to work? Is there a required capability flag, feature declaration, or permission that must be enabled in the manifest? Are there any fields like features, permissions, or something else needed for findContact to trigger UI updates?

where do I find saved Notes recorded during a phone conversation

Update: App Connect 1.5.7 is now availableWe're thrilled to announce the upcoming release of App Connect version 1.5.7, scheduled for release in the next 10-14 days. This release is a significant milestone for our popular server-side call logging feature. This update incorporates invaluable insights gleaned from our beta program, leading to a more robust, reliable, and user-friendly experience for organizations of all sizes. What We've Learned from Your Beta FeedbackWhen we first introduced server-side call logging, our primary goal was to simplify call logging for large and distributed organizations. The greatest value, as confirmed by your feedback, is the ability to log phone calls without requiring individual users to download and install App Connect. This is a game-changer for ensuring greater compliance across a dispersed workforce, drastically reducing the IT overhead associated with managing individual installations.Initially, we explored using individual user credentials for lo

Hello, We recently began testing RingCentral App Connect within our NetSuite. We see there is a feature for logging calls under transactions (sales orders and opportunities). However, we don’t see how that would work. All calls are being logged as general calls stored under the customer. Are we missing something?

When I download it it says to “Connect.” I click Connect and it sends me to the marketplace but from the marketplace on my chrome  book the link send me back to the tutorial. This is XXXXXXX (redacted) please message me here I need to be walked through this.

We're excited to announce significant improvements to our server-side call logging feature, designed to make your call tracking more accurate, real-time, and easier to manage across your organization. These updates are a direct result of valuable feedback from our beta testers – thank you for helping us refine this critical capability!Addressing Past ChallengesPreviously, our goal was to accurately assign the owner of an activity record to the agent who made or received the call. While well-intentioned, our initial approach of looking up the agent and using their credentials to create the record proved to be a bit brittle. More importantly, it meant that everyone in your organization had to connect to their CRM via App Connect for the feature to work, which we know can be a significant hurdle in larger companies.A Simpler, More Powerful SolutionOur new solution takes a much simpler, yet more powerful, approach. Here's what's changing: Real-time Logging: Get even closer to real-time ins

WE connected our ring central connect with our google sheets but when we attempt log calls no pop up come up to enter call information. Thus no call/sms logs are being created

Outbound text messages are logging, but not inbound or calls are logging.

We're excited to announce the release of App Connect 1.5.4, packed with improvements to make your integration experience even better! This update focuses on expanding functionality, refining user control, and boosting overall reliability. What's New in 1.5.4?General enhancementsIntroducing "Notification-level" Setting: Take control of your App Connect experience with our new "Notification-level" setting. This allows you to customize which messages appear while App Connect is running. To reduce UI clutter, we recommend turning off "Success" messages. Improved "Retroactive Call Logging": We've refined the "Disable retroactive call logging" setting. It's now simply "Retroactive call logging" with a more intuitive toggle, eliminating confusion and making it clearer than ever. Contact Source Visibility: Ever wonder where a contact originated? App Connect now displays an icon indicating the source of a contact. This is especially helpful when an incoming call matches contacts in both RingCent

Since the recent update of RingCentral App Connect 1.5.3 I am having trouble with my trading platform. I use Chrome to connect to both Redtail (through which I use RingCentral App Connect 1.5.3) and Wealthscape.  When placing trades via Wealthscape, the procedure is to enter all trade related information, click "Verify" and then "submit" to place the trade.  Since the RingCentral App Connect 1.5.3 update, the "Verify" button is inoperable making it impossible to complete a trade. To test that it is the updated App Connect causing the issue, I used MSFT Edge (which does not have the RingCentral App Connect extension loaded) to connect to Wealthscape and was able to place a trade without issues.  After doing this, I removed RingCentral App Connect 1.5.3 extension from Chrome, restarted, signed in to Wealthscape and was able to perform a trade without incident.  Please fix this ASAP.

If you're using App Connect or Embeddable and your microphone or headset isn’t being recognized, this guide can help you resolve the issue.Important note:App Connect and Embeddable rely on your browser (typically Chrome or Edge) to detect and report available audio devices. They do not access devices directly. Instead, the browser receives this information from your operating system—in this case, Windows—and passes it along to the application. This means that if a microphone or audio input isn’t appearing in App Connect, it’s likely because the browser didn’t get the correct list from the OS, or it doesn’t have the necessary permissions to access that device. This issue can be especially common on Windows, where Chrome may be allowed to access some audio devices but not others, due to privacy settings or device-level configuration.Fortunately, there are a few simple steps you can take to fix it.Step 1: Check Microphone Permissions in Your BrowserFor Chrome In Chrome, go to chrome://setti
