I previously asked the below question about 3 weeks ago and was told it was being passed on to a specialist. I’ve not heard from anyone to date!We have a Spectrum Business Connect phone number that is absolutely never dialed. It is my understanding (I didn’t set it up) that this line is ”pointed to” our company main phone number 972–304-1800 that is managed by RingCentral. With RingCentral we have this 972-304-1800 number forwarding all calls to the owner’s cell phone exclusively. Business phone 972-304-1800 cannot accept text messages nor the number assigned to us by Spectrum. Everything actually comes to and from a cell phone managed by a third party. We practically never text with a customer or vendor - it is an odd occurrence if ever done. Do we need to register? Which number do we register?

After incoming call it is not creating case in salesforce

We update our ring groups quite frequently. With the latest release when you click on Ungroup it deselects the current users of the group and also includes users that were previously removed from the group in the list of members that can be selected. With the amount of ring groups that we have and the amount of members within each ring group it can be difficult to memorize who should be there and who shouldn't. How do I go about removing previous members from the ring group screen altogether?

How can I determine how many fax pages were successfully transmitted before the receiver hung up?I sent a fax but the recipient has configured their fax machine to receive fewer pages than I sent.Using the Get Message API, the message has:messageStatus: "SendingFailed"faxPageCount: the size of the original fax, not the number of pages successfully transmitted.

We manage RingCentral accounts for various clients. I'm not sure why, other than retention, but I find it inconvenient that licensing can only be removed throught the following criteria:1. You are within 30 days of contract renewal2. You must contact RingCentral support or your Account ManagerEven more confusing is the fact that I can purchase as many additional licenses as I want, but in order to remove any, I have to get a sales pitch and discounts offered. It comes across as disingenuous considering 99% of SaaS vendors we use allow you to manage your own licenses, both adding and removing. It always leaves a bad taste in my mouth after the support agent says we should keep hundreds of dollars of licenses on our account as a backup even though I can add one in ~2 minutes if I ever actually needed an additional license.

For some reason, I cannot access my Developer Credentials Page, the page keeps trying to load, and nothing is displayed. Also, I get an HTTP 523 status code when I try to make API calls to get the authentication token.@Phong Vu

I use RC with a physical phone, and I can create a conference call with 2 others, but I need to add more people to the call, and when I try to add the third person, the conf feature is removed from my options.Thank you! Rachel

I have a customer who wanted four staff members phones to ring simultaneous on incoming calls to their main number so I have set them up with a call queue. At times during the day the four staff members maybe on other calls, in meetings or away from their desks; when this happens I currently have it forwarding to the voicemail of one of the members as they don't seem to check the voicemail on the extension of the call queue. My customer has asked if calls go un-answered in the call queue could it be sent to an IVR instead of a mailbox, that way the caller might be able to reach the person they are looking for or at least leave a message in their mailbox instead of a general mailbox? I have tried to set up the overflow option in the specific call queue, have it flow to another call queue that I have called Overflow and then in the Overflow call queue added a custom rule to send it to the extension of the IVR. Hi all,We have developed a solution that receives webhook notification during calls. Our solution graduated from the Sandbox environment and is in working correctly in the production environment. However, when I run our solution in our customer's sandbox environment, I am able to see the extension which I am interested in getting the call notifications, but we are not getting any notifications during calls. I suspect something is not configured correctly in the production environment, but what's the right way to troubleshoot this? I am not able to login as an administrator since this is not our account.Thank you

Hello All,New to RingCentral development, but I created an app with an SMS endpoint (send SMS only) and built some code to get it working in the sandbox. Code works perfectly using the Sandbox credentials/client/server info. Is there a trick to searching the SMS Log under Reports? I've tried every scenario of number formatting that I can think of, click on Apply but all it does is refresh the screen with new SMS messages.Any tips would be appreciated.Thank you

We are having issues using the RC desktop in RC video meetings. The picture quality will freeze or drop, and it is near impossible to use it. If we go to a Teams meeting in the same environment with the same user and device, we have no issues. It appears as though RC bandwidth is 5-6 mbs while Teams is less than 3 mbs. This is not a bandwitdth issue as we are not close to capacity on our internet connection. We also increased our QoS to RC recommended numbers with no change. Is there any settings in the app to help with this or compress video?

I am having trouble making api calls to read the company call log, my user is super admin but I am still getting this error: ApiException: In order to call this API endpoint, one of the following permissions [ReadCompanyCallLog] have to be granted to the authorized user. My company stopped using RingCentral a while ago. Use case: Significant portion of our incoming calls gets abandoned in the call queue(they hang up before it gets connected to an agent). I am looking for a way to see these abandoned callers (their phone numbers) in a near real-time way so that agents can call them back.

We are in a heavily regulated industry and also don't use SMS through Ring Central. Do we still have to register?

We occasionally need to block caller ID for outgoing calls. How do we do that?
