We have used this API for years now, is it deprecated now?

I found this in an example of a PubNub subscription. Can someone tell me how the parameters pollInterval and renewHandicapMs are used:var subscription = subscriptions.createSubscription({ pollInterval: 10 * 1000, renewHandicapMs: 2 * 60 * 1000 });Also, is it safe to assume that by using the SDK the subscription will be automatically renewed upon expiration? Is there a way to block or keep user from receiving or making calls from RingCentral app on their cell phone? We have some field staff that only need RC app for messaging and video. No phone. Trying to avoid accidental calls which we will be billed for.

We want to block outbound calls to toll numbers because there is no need for anyone in our company to be able to do so and blocking calls to toll numbers will mitigate the risk of a PBX hack.Is there a way to do this?

We have RingCentral Polycom 450 phones and use the speed dial buttons to the left and right of the screen to call internal extensions quickly. But we also have a number of external - non RingCentral numbers that we call all the time and would like to program the speed dial buttons to call some of these numbers too. I am told this is not possible at this time and to submit it as an idea - so here you go.

We are a large warehouse facility with several corporate stores of our own. I have begun implementing the Avaya system in one of the stores as a second site which has allowed me to create separate IVRs for the store. But the separation seems to end there. The phones at the store can call any extension at either location as well as the paging system at either location. It would be ideal to have multiple locations as separate locations and then allow access to select extensions and not give store employees (or disgruntle employees) the ability to directly call our CEO. While looking at this situation I also realized that if I call our main line, when the IVR answers, I can dial the paging extension and send a page to any paging system at either site... from my home phone. Please advise as to how these can be resolved.

AVAYA to Ring-central integration document

I believe it's been 6 since it was first asked... you work versions for Android and Mac (*nix and linux both of them), right? Are you planning a linux version for this app? My company is getting rid of windows (finally) and we really need a linux native version for this app for our desktops... Installing it from WINE doesn't work and we do not want to depend on the web or google chrome apps....

An automated update version just deleted all of my recurrent video meeting schedule. I need them as soon as possible. In addition, new platform does not allow to schedule recurrent meeting which is very frustrating. I also noticed that sharing screen functions act weird. I do not see the button for allowing participants to control their mouse. Please help me with these. I am very frustrated.

Hello, we have a call queue with simultaneous routing to around a dozen agents. When we receive an incoming call, it rings on all available agents' softphones, as desired.We've recently integrated the RC API such that we now display contextual incoming call alerts on our web-based UI. For each agent using our UI, if the API reports that their extension is attached to the call session (via a 'Account Telephony Sessions Event' with a 'Proceeding' status), we show an 'Answer' button (tied to the 'Answer Call Party' endpoint), allowing them to answer the call within our UI. The party identifier given within the event data is passed to the answering endpoint, which works fine.The problem is when multiple inbound calls are ringing at the same time, this only works for the first call received. We have new Yealink T57W and I cannot get the phones display (and shown a number of) new messages that have not been yet played. Ideally, I would like to see know that there are new messsages, how many new messages are there and how many old messages were already checked. I need to talk to a developer about the screen sharing functionality in the RingCentral Desktop app. I understand that most video meeting services, RingCentral, Zoom, Webex, etc, block access to the screen share of the application window itself itself.I.E. If I am in a RingCentral meeting and share my entire desktop, the RingCentral app will not appear in that screen share. This is an issue for our company because I am trying to teach new company members how to use the RingCentral desktop app. If I can’t share my screen and have them see the RC app, how am I supposed to teach them what to do?!I would really appreciate it if someone could get back to me about this with a work around. We recently had to move to RingCentral because of an acquisition and I'm fighting to find some parity on a few features. Today's target: A Dashboard/Switchboard/Operator Panel.We are using the HUD (in the Desktop Application) and it works decently, but there are some decided shortcomings. A) One issue is that if a call is transferred to somebody else (ie: Alison receives a call from 'ABC Client' and transfers it to Mike) then after the transfer is complete is will show Mike's extension as 'On Call with Alison' instead of 'On Call with ABC Client'. B) Another issue is that there is no way to do a condensed grid layout, which can make it very frustrating/impossible to see everyoneC) The last issue is that the Presence feature does not respect DND being set on a physical phone, so people who want to have a physical desk phone push DND on their desk phone, as well as DND on the Ring Central App.Does anyone know of anything that can help us out with an

I'm trying to pull down a PDF for a received fax. I can see the received fax in the Call Log (result="Received"). I can see the fax and download it from a browser when logging in. However, when I try to call the GetMessage endpoint (https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/{extensionId}/message-store/{messageId}), I get a 404 not found with the error messageCMN-102: Resource for parameter [messageId] is not found.Any idea why?
