I've created an API to allow me to read call logs and I can connect to the sandbox version and make the call great.I have satisfied the requirements to promote/graduate to production and have production version. I amend my code to use the production ClientId & Secret, the the restclient Production parameter to true & I use the production username but receive following 400:Content: {"error" : "invalid_grant","errors" : [ {"errorCode" : "OAU-140","message" : "Invalid resource owner credentials"} ],"error_description" : "Invalid resource owner credentials"}The only difference I can make out is the Password doesn't show "Active" but I'm unable to Reset password.

I am making a SIP integration with RingCentral but I don't get the SIP messages that I would normally need.

Where are the breakout rooms in the new RingCentral App? I have them enabled in the administrator section of my account, but I cannot see the feature in the app during a video conference.

How can I enable blur virtual background during video calls? It does not seem to be an option in my virtual backgrounds setting - is it something I need to upload?

While working from home, when dialing a phone number for an outgoing call on my desktop app, once i click on the green phone, nothing happens. I used to be able to make calls from home; this issue started about 3 weeks ago - any ideas?,When working from home, I type in a outgoing number from desk top app, when I click on the green phone icon, it doesn't begin ringing. It had been previously working, just began having issues about 3 weeks ago. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix?

Here's one of our developers with a question on how to retrieve accountId and extensionId from your RingCentral account."Parameter accountId is required in most of the API resources, may I know what is the account Id in sandbox account? After registering the account with the company main number the user can create extensions of different types and functionality. Can anyone help me? I would like to change the inbound caller ID to display our business name instead of the name and phone number of the inbound caller.

So I created an app because I want to pull message data down from the system. Got it all working just fine now. Somehow made some bad API calls to an endpoint early on and now no plans to use that endpoint or which endpoint it was. No way to promote this app to production because of the bad calls to the one endpoint????? So I cloned it to a new app. Changed my IDs for Oauth and started making my calls again. Now, the new app is not getting any stats on my good calls - so again - no way to promote it. What is the deal with the API administration? And no support other than to submit a ticket which takes days for a response. Anyone else find a work around their crappy API admin system?????

Is there a way to change the Default meeting recording location from My Documents to the C drive? Not one at a time in the app, but across the company either at install or afterword's? Our desktop and Documents folder is redirected to a network server, and if an end user is on VPN and records a meeting the recording typically fails. I found recordings-config.json in the appdata folder, but changing the path here does not seem to change it in the app. I also do not see anywhere in the registry with a recording path that I could change.

I have a pre call authentication to my company's API that i currently run through terminal before i place a call. I'd like to create a button on the softphone to execute this POST, is that possible? it's not really a call itself it's an API authentication to our API, don't need to access ring centrals (i don't think) just want to "add a button" on the dialer, is that possible? I'm not a coder at all but I'm trying to fumble my way through it.,I have code for accessing my company's secure call API (pre call authentication) i want to integrate into the softphone. in the 'powered by zoom' meetings application, we had the ability to share our iOS mobile devices if they were on the same wifi. This feature seems to be missing from the RC Video application. We use this a lot to show mobile versions of websites in development or to use our phone as a cordless camera to show actual product. Is there an ETA for that to be added to the RC Video app?

When I delete the extension, it doesn't go back into the 'unassigned' extensions pool, it just removes the extension entirely, and I have to re-purchase a new one. I want to be able to unassign an extension when a user leaves the company, and have that extension ready for new starters in the 'unassigned extensions' pool.

We want to block outbound calls to toll numbers because there is no need for anyone in our company to be able to do so and blocking calls to toll numbers will mitigate the risk of a PBX hack.Is there a way to do this?

I'm able to reproduce this issue every time I select the expand window button in the RingCentral app running on Big Sur. Once I do, it almost looks like it enables 'Spaces' and completely takes over the entire screen, locking me out from launching any apps. I can get back to using any of my other desktop apps until I force quit RingCentral.I have Mission Control and Spaces all turned off. The only work around has been to delete the app including the Application support files and reinstalling. But once I click on the expand screen button after reinstalling, the problem comes back again, locking me out from running any other apps until I force quit RingCentral.

I'm using the "Get Company Call Log Records" API endpoint to extract call data to be analysed on our system.However it seems the dateFrom and dateTo are filtering on the startTime field instead of endTime (startTime + duration) and because of that its possible to miss some calls if we just set the dateFom on the next collection to the previous dateTo + 1ms.E.g.:Call Collection #1 - GetCompanyCallLogRecords endpoint with datefrom: 2021-08-01T00:00:00.000Z and dateto: 2021-08-01T23:59:59.999ZCall Collection #2 - GetCompanyCallLogRecords endpoint with datefrom: 2021-08-02T00:00:00.000Z and dateto: 2021-08-02T23:59:59.999ZWith these 2 queries I will miss all the calls that have started before 2021-08-01T23:59:59.999Z but ended after 2021-08-01T23:59:59.999Z.Some of my questions are:Is the filter on the startTime by design or a bug? I am trying to the use the API to obtain the Call Quality, QoS, metrics but looking through the API information I cannot locate a request that returns this information, Jitter, Score, Packet Loss.I know the information is stored as I can see it in the Calls reporting but I need to be able to access this information programmatically. I'm doing some investigation about how to extract call log records from RingCentral to run some analytics against the data. I'm trying to use the Sync API endpoint however I've a few questions about the synchronization flow and how it works:How the 250 records limit works? If initially I've more than 250 records on RingCentral how can I extract those records?If I've more than 250 records and I do a FSync call, how many record are returned? 250? More? We have a phone in a classroom and would like to require a password/PIN for outbound calls to prevent unauthorized use during off hours. Is this possible? Obviously 911 calls would not need a PIN. I appreciate any help.

We provisioned our Yealink T46S phones with the admin password. Now, we can not get in with Admin or a password we set it to. We tried 789,789!, and 456 with no luck. Any ideas on how to get in to the advanced settings on our phones? No password is working

I am lost, and have not found explanations on users, extensions and phone numbers.We only need one central phone number for incoming calls. Calls are routed to a sales queue or a support queue. We need no specific users. We have a handful of people who answer calls from the queue but do not make calls. Then we have 1 person who might make outbound calls. We have no use for direct dial numbers. We also have a SIP phone that is more community based and occasionally will make or receive a call. We are on standard plan.Do I need a user license for people with soft phones who do make external calls? These stations are really not named users, but rather a pool that changes. Would that be virual extensions?Do I need to have any external phone numbers (other than our central number, which does not seem to be billed) ?It looks like we might have an external telephone number for the community phone. Is there any way to sync the contacts from desktop app to desktop phone (yealink T48S)? Only way I can find is to enter this info twice.
