1) I want to be able to have Users in my Call/Hunt group have the ability to set themselves to DND from there deskphone with out having to also have the Softphone installed.2) Can an admin go in and set users that forget to go in to DND for them?

Every time I fax a document with my signature in it, the recipient receives a blackened out page.

In the analytics area of RC, how far back do dates go? I'm seeing evidence that it only goes back so far then stops. Or does it go back as far back as our account goes?

On my iOS phone, I have both the RC Phone app and the RingCentral Collaboration app. I sign into both with the same credentials - but the Collaboration app doesn't have any the Call option at the bottom. I've talked to my account manager and he's shown me his - which show the same as the screen shot in the app store (Message, Call, Meet, Contact, More). Whereas when I login, I get (Message, Meet, Contact, Tasks, Team Events). It's the latest version available in the app store, I've restarted and double checked I am logging into both with the same credentials..... Any ideas?

Hi Phong, my webhook is setup and working, I can see event notifications in the webhook server console. My question is how do I retrieve the notification payload on the client so I can handle it? SubcriptionInfo (type returned by Subscription.Post(new CreateNew SubscriptionRequest{...})) does not have a Response property. See code snippet from client below:

I want to get some clarification on account structure, and how it relates to data we get back from the RingCentral api.Are there just two levels of account structure: Account-> Extensions (One main account identifier, and multiple extension identifiers underneath that)? Or, are there more levels?When performing the 3-legged OAuth sequence, we are getting back one identifier: when getting the token (https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/token), we get back "owner_id" among other things. Second, we make a call to extension endpoint (https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~) to retrieve more account info. From this second call, we get back "id" and "account.id". Does "owner_id" == "id", or does "owner_id" == "account.id", or is "owner_id" a completely separate identifier from the other two?Does a service account have it's own identifier within the context of the api?

We have several groups set up within RingCentral.All users have calls forwarded to their mobile phones.Multiple users within these groups report issues with receiving calls.The following problems occur regularly (at least daily)...(1) Call does not ring at all on the forwarded smart phone (however the call does show up as a "missed call" in the RingCentral reporting features).(2) Call rings, but pressing "1" to accept the call does nothing. I have a RC glitch where my phone will ring, but when I answer the call the "receiving call" screen doesn't go away. I can hear the person calling, but the phone continues to ring, and the call drops after about 30 seconds.

COMPLETELY AGGRAVATED WITH RING CENTRAL. I have logged many hours with different reps just trying to get my phone app to ring!!! IT STILL DOES NOT CONSISTENTLY RING. I have had so many reps try countless work arounds and nothing works. My process is real simple - just make my mobile app ring so that I can answer the phone. That's it and this has yet to happen.

I called to DISCONNECT an 800 number ( because i constantly got people calling me looking for other companies!) today and after 30 minutes!! of going back and forth with Diane extension 0468 i come to find out that she never disconnected my line and just made another line the main line. The only reason i found this out is because i asked for a prorated refund on the annual charge that they took from my account. Diane couldn't figure out why i should get a partial refund if i still had ALL my numbers!! I told her not to touch my account and I am currently waiting for a phone call from the supervisor, which apparently will be in 24hrs!!! what the hell!! Can someone please call me?!! worst experience ever!!

Hi,How can I pull the call data in a Python script, I've been able to connect fine however I'm not sure how to deal with pagination?I'd like to run the script every 15 mins to pull recent calls and not create duplicats, any sample code that you can help me with?I will then send the JSON data to a MySQL database.Thanks

I have Ringcentral installed on my MacBook as its my companies preferred choice for telephone calls and online meetings. On the weekend I was asked to host a personal (non work) meeting and I was asked to used Zoom. I set Zoom up and hosted a meeting. Now when I go to use my Ringcentral Meeting ID for my regular work meetings I get an error message in Ringcentral stating: "Leave meeting: This Meeting ID is not valid. Please check and try again" and a box to click that states 'Leave'. Its so frustrating that a) this happened as a result of using Zoom and b) the Ringcentral message is so unhelpful - it gives me literally no information or option as to how to fix it

We are a Canadian account that has just signed up and are experiencing issues with the location showing up on the outbound caller ID which is not correct. We have set our custom caller ID to reflect our company name but underneath it shows up the location where our numbers are from which is Victoria and our office is located in Armstrong, 600 km away.We have had numerous customers question when they see Victoria come up on their caller ID and it is important to us that they do not get confused but rather see only the company ID, not location unless we are able to edit it to our local town.THANK YOU for your consideration and if there is anything you can do to change this would be Appreciated!

Missing / Getting Calls while In Lunch Time

I manage a home service business and want to be able to track and report the closing rate of my office staff that answers the phone. The ring central call log has great information but I envision another column that would have a drop down list of call result options such as closed, estimate, telemarketer, estimate but follow up, wrong #, etc Then I would like to be able to filter by user and date and receive what percentage of calls fall into each category. Is there anyway this is possible or has anyone else created something similar? I really appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thank you. - Alan
