Account is U.Ssoftware version UC Software Version 5.6.0.20009Updater Version 5.8.0.24992Phones are Polycom vvx411When a call comes in and we lift the handset, or press speaker phone, it goes to new line and dial tone to allow an outbound call.It does not pick up the incoming call like it is supposed to.There is an option in the action buttons to "pick up" the call. But I need it to just pick up the incoming call when the handset is lifted.This started when we ported our real numbers over.When we first started setting up and testing and had the temporary numbers it worked fine and would pick up calls when handset was lifted.I have researched and the one thing I have found, but cannot find an entry for in the config files (via the phone web interface), is reference to call.autoOffHook.1.enabled="1" - this was referenced from the polycom community in a 2014 post.I have c

My organization currently uses RingCentral Meetings, but we're looking at RingCentral Video. We are also users of the Meetings API for automated scheduling.Will the current Meetings API work for RingCentral Video, if we "switchover"? Or is there (will there be) a separate Meetings API for RingCentral Video?Any other insight that can be shared about RCV and API integration, especially around meeting scheduling?Please advise.

Hi, folks! I managed to register a ATA Cisco SPA122 to Ringcentral. However, provided it has two ports for analog phones, I was wondering if it would be possible to have two different Ringcentral extensions (same account) connected into this ATA. My account is for US, Ultimante. Thanks.

Currently, RingCentral Video supports Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.Are there plans to include support for Firefox and Safari in the future?Since they are currently not supported, invitees who use Firefox or Safari are prompted to download the RingCentral App, which few people are willing to do. And it's an extra hassle even if they do.This means RingCentral Video is of little use for communication with outside business partners and we're having to opt for Zoom in these cases.

I was told by RC support to upgrade our company from RC Phone and RC Meetings to one ap, the new RC App. I asked everyone to change but quickly found out that users cannot transfer their contacts to teh new APP. They cannot even add user manually to the new RC APP? We are a logistics company and tal to truck drivers all day. They are not going to click invite links to be added. Our employee have no way to add numbers to their contacts to quickly dial their contacts. What a mess!!! Now we all have to delete the new app and go back to RC Phone. Makes no sense to me. What is that feature not the same from RC Phone? 1. USA account, over 25 users.

When viewing phone call, text and emails on the desktop app and it displays the number but has contact listed as "unknown" can that be edited there to create a named contact?

i have multiple users and i want my Ringcentral app for the admin user to be able to receive all the text messages of the other users.

Over the last 24 hours I have not been able to receive any inbound calls. My dialpad was not working as well and I had many instances of one way audio. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I still cannot receive inbound calls. I cannot get in contact with anyone from RC phone, does anyone have any solutions before I find a new service provider?

My company often posts attachments (usually pdfs saved on our network) and I have been unable to download them. The box pops up at the bottom of the screen but it will say "0/30Kb, paused". If I go to resume the download, it does nothing. It has only been doing it on my computer. I can open downloads on my phone or other office computers.

I loaded v.0.3.5 of the ringcentral Maven artifact into my Java project, but do not see the CreateFaxMessageRequest or MessageStoreCallerInfoRequest classes in the com.ringcentral.definitions package (although I see the classes in Git).Does the artifact need to be rebuilt or is there a different version I should use in my Maven project?

the phone contacts I had added in my softphone desktop app are not found in the ringcentral classic, glip or web app. Where did the go? this is very important. I don't have them in my iphone contacts list; but they are stored because when they call me glip recognizes the contact and shows up with the named I stored them with on the soft phone app. but when I look for them to dial they are not found/matched.

I am looking for comments and suggestions on using the Desktop app in an enterprise environment. Below I will cover some of the issues we are having.We are a new RC customer with 400 users. Our initial experiences with the Desktop app have been mixed. For example we have a branch that is using nothing but the desktop app. The main number rings to a ring group. The phones assigned do not all ring at the same time. Some do not even ring at all, but they might for the next call. We have made firewall adjusts onsite as per RC knowledge base articles. The other issue is that there seems to be no Admin install version of the MSI file. We have no problems with users being able to install without admin rights, but when you run the app a windows firewall exception notice comes up with DOES require admin rights. Since our users are not admins this presents a problem in Enterprise environments. As a work around I deployed a group policy that adds the following program path

I am working building a desktop app that will broadcast a text message to phone numbers imported from a excel sheet.My question is once i figure everything out. Is there a limit how many text message can be sent per min, per day, etc. and is there limit of total text message can be sent. i have about 2000 phone number that i need to send text message to, afterwords about 100 text message everyday.
