We are looking for access to the API to only get the Current incoming call with the caller ID and history of calls for the current date and put on our custom dashboard. Is there a way to do just that?

The RingCentral App is not allowing the video to be displayed from the recipient. The recipient states that they can see themselves, but I cannot see them. Seems to be a bug. Tried everything. This has been an ongoing issue with people during a video conference. I am now on with a client for 36 minutes trying to make the video work, it has been impossible. AND I pay for the upgraded system per month. Looks like I should consider cancelling and going back to ZOOM, it is probably a better system with less bugs. Sometimes if the recipient logs into the Meeting App via their mobile phone, the camera comes up and I can see them. No idea why, but this is NOT the first time this has occurred. Audio works fine, but video is non-existent and cannot figure out the reason why.

I am looking for some API that can provide information on all the extension we have.For example, out of multiple number of extension we have, we can get the info that which extension is getting the call and attending it. Can we check that from an API?Any reference will be helpful.

CASE # 09593888Is anybody getting the run around with support between Ringcentral and their Call Center provider inContact (AKA CxOne, AKA Nice, AKA What's next)? I have been having issues with their reporting platform pulling incorrect records. Individual calls are merged together and reported as a single call :[]. Messing up our records for audits.When you try to contact inContact they tell you to go through ringcentral. When you call ringcentral they are not familiar with inContact so they generate an incident and then send you to inContact. The latter then says you need to contact Ringcentral because they are not forwarding the calls to us correctly. Ringcentral again tells me it's an issue with the call center.Now this reminds me of a french cartoon I watched as a kid "The 12 tasks of Asterix" .https://www.youtub

The control is getting stuck in this line "restClient.Authorize(RINGCENTRAL_USERNAME, RINGCENTRAL_EXTENSION, RINGCENTRAL_PASSWORD).Wait()". We have provided all the valid inputs but still the control is not moving to next line.

Has anybody out there had experience with converting from a free Glip instance to a full, paid, RingCentral implementation? I'm curious as to whether they were able to transfer your users/conversations/teams intact or whether you needed to start over from scratch.Thanks,Keith

I work for Disability:IN and one of our Inclusion Works companies uses RingCentral and asked me to check out the accessibility of the tool.  This client is trying to comply with the Disability Equality Index which specifically asks is their telephony system accessible for users with disabilities - all types of disabilities, including deaf and low vision or blind users.   I am hopeful to find a RingCentral expert in accessibility to provide me with some testing details, similar to a VPAT for Section 508 compliance.

We would like to integrate to Job Nimbus. Please let us know if this is possible or if we can make this happen. Thank you

US Account, Currently using the Glip RingCentral app, the contacts are not syncing with the online contacts. The contacts sync with the other Ring Central app, but I have been unable to sync the contacts with the Glip app.

Hello,I want to use RingCentral for sending messages. For I will have various accounts, I chose public application Auth-code flow. I am using the functionality for desktop application, I have researched the way to get auth-code is through browser on which I will login with my ringcentral account then will allow access permissions and then it will return the auth-code in the callback url response that I have passed while making request for it.It is inappropriate for my desktop application to open up browser and making all my accounts user to follow the steps to allow access. Is there anyway through code that this process runs in background and user will automatically get the auth-code once I access the api for it.I am stuck. Please help!Regards.

On the desk phones we can create a conference call, disconnect, and the two other callers remain connected. On RC for Windows if we disconnect then all calls disconnect. Why is the call behavior different? We need the ability to disconnect from a conference call on RC for Windows without disconnecting the other callers.

Hi, I'm using a Mac with Catalina 10.15 I've download the Mac desktop app v19.10.2 but I get an error message saying "RingCentral cant be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the dev...."Is there a new version in the pipeline or am I missing something?

When a client tries to fax us, it goes to voicemail. Is there some setting they should change on their fax machine so it wont go through as a phone call? Faxes from other machines go through ok

Hello for over 5 months I have been using the click to call feature by integrating the Ringcentral through our CRM, we use SmartMoving as our CRM. I have my headset, I click the number, Ringcentral pops up and automatically starts calling. Well today, I was making calls all day until approximately 3:45-4pm i clicked the phone number for another call (leads come in) and instead of going to the call window ring central issued me a note that said abnormal system crash, it recommended I hit troubleshoot. I hit troubleshoot and thought everything was fixed because the error was gone and it didn't say anything popped up. So I called a number again, only it asks if I want to use ring central and I say yes, and then nothing happens. No call, no pop up ring central phone, nothing. IM chat doesn't know, they referred me here, so please help. Actually losing a lot of money every minute I cannot make these calls because we already funded our leads today.

I have a Bose headset and it's connected to my PC and it's recognized in the RC SaaS app, but microphone setting is spinning with the "Loading" statement. The speaker and ringer setting are default stating the Bose headset?

Our company has recently installed Polycom VVX 300/310 phones throughout our organization. I believe there is a way for someone sitting at a desk to remotely answer a call ringing to another extension. (Example: an incoming or transferred call is ringing at extension 105. The person that sits at 105 is not at their desk, but their co-worker at extension 106 is available. How can the person at 106 answer the call at 105 without walking over to that handset? Is there a code that can be input at 106 that allows them to retrieve the ringing call at 105?) Also, if I'm correct in my assumption that this is a standard feature, does anything need to be configured on the handsets to make this functionality work?

Is there any documentation on what the different types of results are in a call log? What is the trigger to flag a call as "wrong number" vs "hang up" vs "call connected"?

I have call groups set up to receive call simultaneously. The problem i have is even if someone answers the call the other members ring app continues to ring.

I am facing issues with call notification.I am able to receive calls in the call log from dashboard but in NodeJS code using this function "handleSubscriptionNotification" i cannot get response after making call and cannot handle subscriptions here in this function.I am able to get extensions and event filters and can get messages: LOGIN SUCCESS DATA, RENEW SUBSCRIPTION SUCCESS DATA, SUBSCRIPTION CREATED SUCCESSFULLY but cannot get this message SUBSCRIPTION NOTIFICATION..... from handleSubscriptionNotification.Help me with this issue.

I don't use the desktop app or mobile app, only the RC web interface. My company details apparently aren't displaying on the fax cover page. (See screenshot.) I have looked through all the questions but they seem to be when using the desktop app. Is there a way to put my company information on the fax cover sheet?
