Hello, I am working on setting up an integration between a crm and an Engage Digital Queue and I believe I need access to some other source to generate API tokens and determine the ED Server URL for my queues.These are the instructions I found at, https://developers.ringcentral.com/engage/digital/guide/basics/access-tokenLogin to your Engage portal and click on the "Admin" menu located in the top, horizontal menu.Select "API access tokens" towards the bottom of the left hand menu.You should see a list of access tokens if any have been provisioned. Select the token, or click the "+" button to create a new one.Finally, enter a label/description for your token, and select an Agent on which the token will act on behalf of. Make sure the token is "enabled" and click "Save."However I don't have the options listed above in the admin view of the Engage Portal.

I've just started using RingCentral after migrating from Zoom, and the biggest let-down is the annotations - all I can do is make a mark that disappears after a few seconds. As someone who sometimes uses these calls to teach, I'd often like to write in text to annotate a page, or to draw lines and have them remain on the page. Is this really all that's available, or am I missing something? Thanks!

We have an account with UK users on a UK plan. If we wanted to add US users on a US plan can they be on the same account, or would it need to be a separate RingCentral account? Thanks.

The Forward All Calls feature has a fault in design. When you enable "Forward All Calls" for User A who is getting the call, to send them to User B , it should still use the "Connecting To..." greeting that is assigned for User A. But the system plays the "Connecting To..." greeting of User B.That is wrong. It should play User A "Connecting To" greeting so that we can record a custom message tell the incoming caller "You have called Jane Doe at extension 123. She is away so we are automatically forwarding you to John Smith at extension 456". This way your incoming caller is not getting someone answering that they do not expect and do not know. For our clients, that is pretty critical - counselling services clients want to know they are reaching the person they intend to, or understand who they are being directed to. You cannot edit the User B recording to provide that information, because that would mean every caller to User B would get

While talking to a caller I would like to play an audio file with a pre-recorded set of instructions. Is this possible? Ideally I would like to simply assign a shortcut key or some menu option, preferably in the on call menu, perhaps under _more_ while on a call.

My group of about 20 folks has started experiencing these 2 problems in the last week or two. Any guidance on a fix, or is this a bug?We're all running the latest version: 23.1.22.6903 Mac. We've been unable to intentionally replicate either issue thus far but every member of our team has had both issues. I know it's not an internet connectivity issue, as we work from different offices and at different times. 1. An external number calls in, we attempt to transfer the call to another internal number, and RC gives us a "Unable to load the page" message and the call box turns solid white - screenshots attached. The app locks up and we can still hear the connected call but can't transfer or end the call because the app is frozen. All we can do is quit the app, ending the call, and reopen. We have been trying to get pretty much any piece of RingCentral to function properly in Azure Virtual Desktop (since we're rolling out to the entire company). First the desktop app, then the dialer integration with Teams. I've been given an ultimatum to get RingCentral working in AVD or we shall be migrating our telephony to Teams later this year. Has anybody had success? I've seen multiple examples of people using RC with AWS or Citrix. Not sure why RC doesn't want to make their software work in VDI environments, with so many companies going that route.

I am trying to reproduce the data in the Admin Portal detailed Call Log from the data obtained via the Call Log API. I can find all the data, but I would like to confirm exactly which columns are used to populate the report. I suspect there might also be some logic regarding Inbound vs Outbount, legs Master records, etc.

Regarding to this, it would save so much time, if a phone would be provisioned independently of the assigned number, so phone can moved between users or numbers without a compete onside reprovisioning.

As a RingCentral partner, we have been getting a lot of requests from our customers on how to set up different ringtones for internal and external calls. Just wondering if this is something that can be set up? If not, then it would be great to have it included in future updates.

Is there a way to add a clickable button or a check box to the waiting room that would give the participant the option to "accept" the legal terms that are there for them to read. Once they click accept, or check the box they will show up in the waiting room list for the host.

I am getting a "MSG-242 The requested feature is not available" error when trying to send sms in my production app. I checked and saw that SMS was enabled, but when I go to https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/sms I get a message saying "message": "Internal Server Error. I have an app in Production mode and wish to use it to make RingOut calls from different extensions. I use my credentials (Super Admin) for my app.I want the app to be able to do Ringout calls from other extensions in my account. In the URL I use https://platform.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/<extId>/ring-out.However, I get an error: CMN-426 Feature [RingOut] is not available for extension IDPlease advise how to get the app to work for all users with phone numbers in my account. I have logitech usb wired headsets and multiple users with dell laptops that constantly have the microphone cut out randomly on them. I noticed that after this happens, that the system files are corrupted. I run a sfc/ scannow after this happens and each time the scan finds corrupted files and repairs them. After rebooting, the microphone works again. Is there a solution that would fix this permanently? I have started using other brands and types of headsets and they do not have this issue.

We have two accounts with RingCentral - one with a local Florida number and another account with an 877 number as the account number. Is there a way that we can change our number to a local number?

How do we know if our number was permanently blocked by a carrier?? Despite the deadline extension, we are not able to send texts anymore.

After migrating to RingCentral, we didn't initially bring all of our locations onto the platform until afterwards. Since then, we have had to migrate fax lines as well. In our original migration, we had our fax ATAs (Obi302) all set up as limited extensions to save money since their only purpose is to send a fax to a machine to print. The ones that were "out of the box" so to speak are all working as limited extensions, but the ones we have been configuring are not working. They are able to send out faxes, but not receive them. I have held up the configurations side by side to see the issue but they are mirrored. What do I need to do? Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that the feature is on the app level but allowing individuals the ability to turn on and off the auto feature is a horrible idea. Now that more and more people are working from home this is something that can be abused by sales or negligence by customer service. As an admin we do not the ability to block this feature nor can we track it to see who has it on. Please help as soon as possible.
