Call Waiting

Is there a way to have call waiting on the desktop app so that if all agents are on a call, someone can put their current client on hold to pick it up?The other thing is that you do not get to see the call in your missed calls as it was never routed to you (because you were on a call)

Bulk Text Limited to 10

HUD in the Ring Central App (GLIP)

I've heard that the desktop phone app will eventually be phased out. The HUD is a favorite feature in our office since the staff can see other staffers' status and who they're speaking with. Will the HUD functionality be incorporated into the Ring Central (Glip) app? If so, when? If not, why not? Thanks!

Multiple sequential ring groups (call queue or hunt groups) for the main line

Hello, I currently have a call queue mapped to our main line. I have 8 people in it and all phones ring simultaneously when people call the main line. What I want is to break it up in 2 groups, the first group with only 3 people in it should ring first, then of no one answers after 2 rings, then it should ring the second hunt group.Can anyone guide me on where or how could I set this up?Thank you,

Fax API - Keeps failing with attachment using Javascript SDK from base64

Hi - I've tried all kinds of ways to get the SDK working. If i use the code in the template with fs.createreadstream - it works fine reading from a file. i'm trying to upload reading from a base64 string. I've tried converting to a buffer / string - all kinds of things. The API call completes, but the status is failed in the dashboard and I don't know why it failed as there isn't further logging. Beating my head against the wall on this one. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Attach audio data to create custom user greeting endpoint

Part of my application retrieves base64 encoded audio data from another API, stores that data as a variable in a data buffer, and then uses that data as the "binary" parameter for the create custom user greeting endpoint. How to remove onscreen flag during screenshare

Hello, When I screenshare, this flag stays on the screen: It really interferes with my ability to maneuver during a screenshare. I can't dismiss it - I can only move it around on the screen, and it blocks whatever's behind it. I can't shrink it. Wherever I move it, I eventually have to move it again when I need to access that part of the screen. There has to be a way to turn this off... I know I'm missing something obvious :) thanks for your help!

Our hold music playing when we are put on hold

Multiple users at our company have noticed that when they are put on hold by certain callers, our internal hold music plays, instead of the client's hold music. Is this a configuration somewhere?

Updated iPhone 13 pro to ios 15.6.1 now app doesn't open

I updated my iPhone 13 pro to ios 15.6.1 and now the RingCentral iOS app doesn't open. When I tap the app icon a transparent rectangle pops up and then fades out, not opening the app. I deleted the app and reinstalled. I also restarted my phone. The app still doesn't open. I was able to open the ios app this am before updating. Once i updated to ios 15.6.1 the app doesn’t open.The ios update was only a security update, so not sure what happened.

I can change a users details like name, email address, role and also the delete the call log via the API but how can I also automatically clear any saved or unheard messages before a new user takes over a number please?

I'd like to write a script to install the latest version of the RingCentral app on a Windows machine -- but I don't want to have to update that script every time a new version is released. What I'd LIKE is for there to be a file, which could notionally be found at (Note: This is a fake url!)http://ringcentral.com/downloads/Applications/Windows/RCcurrentVersion.msiInto which RC techs would copy the most recent version. Anyone else experiencing increasing number of fast busy signal errors when trying to dial out?

We have multiple users who are experiencing a fast busy signal when trying to dial outgoing calls. We've been experiencing the issue increasing over the past 2 weeks. It doesn't matter if we use a "ported number" or number exclusive to RC. Also doesn't matter if we use mobile, downloaded or online app. We're under a year in our agreement and getting frustrated with tech support calls that go nowhere; wondering if this is an isolated issue for us or if this is happening to other businesses as well. Thanks for any insights.

How do I demote the original Super Admin user?

I'd like to demote the original super admin user to a regular user and then promote another user to the position. I thought it was tied to the extension, but changing their extension didn't affect anything.
