Does RingCentral have an MCP Server?

Interesting question. As a policy, we don’t talk about roadmap items in a public forum. Have you tried contacting a business development representative at RingCentral?

It is indeed a very interesting question.

Slack has an MCP server allowing their customers to use AI to questions their knowledge locked away in Slack without forcing their customers to write or maintain API’s.

RC should do the same, as my technical people have failed to access the large amount of information we have locked away in RC/Glip for our benefit, because your API’s are not easy to implement.

Having an MCP server would allow us to build agents to answer customer queries and to summarise technical issues and make recommendations from the growing list of other MCP servers knitting the world of AI’s together.

I just tried this and I get:

Your account was authorized, but no MCP server was found at the provided URL, or your account doesn’t have access to it. Check the server URL or your access, then try again.

You can copy and paste the server URL at the top of the page for each setup section into your AI Assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and should be able to run you through the setup as well-
