RingEX Meetings MCP Now Available: Ask your AI assistant about your RingCentral meetings
We’re excited to introduce the RingEX Meetings MCP server. It connects the AI assistant you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, or any client that supports remote MCP servers) to your RingCentral meeting history, so the answers from your meetings are one question away.
What you can do with it
- Find past meetings by date, keyword, or whether they have recordings
- See who was on a meeting and which transcripts, chat, and recordings exist
- Pull the Live Transcript and ask your assistant to extract the action items
- Read the main-room chat to find the link someone dropped
- Retrieve a meeting recording
- Create a reusable meeting space and get the join link in one sentence
Prompts to try first
- “Find my meetings from the last two weeks that have recordings.”
- “Get the transcript of my platform sync and pull out the action items.”
- “Pull the chat from yesterday’s platform sync. Did anyone drop a link in it?”
- “Create a reusable meeting space called Platform API office hours and give me the join link.”
Built for trust
Every tool runs as you, so you only see meetings you participated in. Searching returns metadata only, and your assistant fetches a transcript, chat, or recording only when it’s needed. Signed links are never exposed, and deleting a meeting space takes a preview plus your explicit confirmation.
Get started in three steps
- Add
https://mcp.labs.ringcentral.com/ringex/videoas a custom connector in your AI tool (exact path, no trailing slash). - Sign in with your RingCentral account.
- Ask: “List my RingCentral meetings from the last week.”
Step-by-step instructions for each client are in the setup guide, and the overview covers every tool.
Help us shape what’s next
This is an early, experimental release, and your feedback will guide where it goes. Reply below and tell us:
- What did you ask your meetings, and what clicked?
- What’s the first thing you’d use it for every week?
- What would you love it to do next?
- Which AI assistant are you connecting it to?
We can’t wait to see what you ask.
