Does the Cisco ATA192 support analog overhead paging
Your device order page states that the Cisco ATA192 “turns traditional telephone, fax, and overhead paging communications devices into IP devices for greater cost effectiveness.”
But when searching for directions for configuration the AI states the following:
The Cisco ATA 192 is an analog telephone adapter designed to connect analog devices like standard telephones or fax machines to the RingCentral system. It does not inherently support overhead paging.
For overhead paging, RingCentral supports specific IP-based paging devices from manufacturers such as Valcom, Algo, and CyberData. You can find more information on supported paging devices and how to set up paging in RingCentral here: https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Paging-Overview.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US
Can it be configured for overhead paging use as a paging device or another way?
Thanks
Paul
