Hello there, I have an opportunity to buy 4 Grandstream GSC3506 SIP, seeing as I can’t get paging working on some of the phones in our stores (oh boy how I’ve tried), Yealink if provisioned through RC work, if RC can’t provision them for me, Paging doesn't work or i’m missing something. As for the remaining phones, Grandstream GXP2160, I figured paging is a lost cause on these as they are old and there is ZERO provisioning from RC for them.

Unless someone can give me some insight on where to start with the paging setting up the un-provisioned phones

Anyways are these speakers compatible with RingCentral? I looked high and low and cannot find an answer.

To answer your main question: Yes, it is possible to use the Grandstream GSC3506 SIP speakers with RingCentral by registering them as generic SIP devices!

However, because these speakers and your older Grandstream GXP2160 phones are not natively auto-provisioned by RingCentral, setting up SIP registration and multicast paging requires manual configuration and backend checks that aren't guaranteed to work across all network setups.

I managed to get the grand stream GSC3516 sip speaker to work with paging, along with swapped all the grandstream phones with yealink t43g phones until the new t46s phones come in. The old grandstream phones are now in retirement. So, all paging is working. My next question is can I have night ringer put on the sip speaker? I have one restaurant that seems to have the excuse that “we never heard the phone ring” Is there a way i can place night ringer on this. Also this speaker is a two way communications speaker, is intercom available without needing a separate extension? Thanks again, and sorry for not being able to answer the calls you were making, just been very very busy.
