Use Desktop to dial with but desk phone to talk

I'm trying to use the desktop app to dial with and then pick up the handset on the phone to talk and listen but I cannot figure out how to do it. Any suggestions?

If both the phone are on different extension you can use parking option once the call is connected and continue
