Voicemail contained my outgoing message & caller's incoming message

Received voicemail from outside of my company.

The voicemail played my outgoing message then caller’s incoming message. How did caller do that?

Voicemail log displayed two separate voice messages from this caller, originating from one phone number, and both messages time stamped the same time.

Incoming call made from a landline.
