Was our phone number hacked?,We are getting tons of people calling us to say they have missed calls from us, why?

We are getting tons of calls and texts from all over the country claiming they received a missed call from one of our lines, what is happening? We never dialed out to anyone, these people are only calling 1 of our direct lines. These are people all over the country and no one has called, what is going on?
