The users in my office often have the RingCentral Desktop software installed, but also have a physical desk phone. Some users prefer to have the incoming call rules configured to only allow the desk phone to ring, and turn the app off. This used to work, but now it seems that even when you turn off “desktop app” in the incoming call rules, it still rings on the desktop. I tested on a few workstations, so I believe this may be a bug in the app.
