RingCentral Blocking Numbers -Admin Level

Good morning RC Community,

It is true that RingCentral does NOT have a way to block any number at the admin level across all accounts?, that it has to be done one by one?.

RC is great tool, but seriously with all spams going around, it is extremely important due to security reasons.

Thanks

I've been adding Blocked numbers to the user that identified the spam. I've also been adding the Blocked number to the Super Admin user account... this achieved the 'global' block for us. See if that works for you.

Here's RingCentral's notice on the 'Blocked Calls' for the Super Admin account

Good afternoon Brandon,

Wow really?!, do you mean that by adding the block numbers to ALL Super Admin Users, it can assume it as a general block?.

Thank you!

Don't confuse 'Super Admin' role as the 'Super Admin' user. When you got a RingCentral account, you got a 'Super Admin' user originally.

You'll see it signified in your admin portal with this:

Under that specific user, blocking a number under that account will block it company wide.

Yes, the Super Admin user itself, makes sense.

Thank you so much Brandon!
