RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

When I am trying to authenticate with my ringcentral account from webphone demo app its given me error "we didn't recognize your email address" even I have created developer app from my own ringcentral account.I am using the paid account and that is created as a user account by admin (with full permission).

This seems like it should be an easy fix. Why can't you update your software so we can block 5 digit numbers as well. I get so many texts a day it's cutting into my work time deleting them.

My DND is disabled but the phone still does not ring?

Why has RingCentral stopped incorporating the dialer with PCrecruiter. One of the only reasons I signed up for RC. Please bring it back ASAP

Hey, Missed calls automatically send above message to personal voicemail on Iphone. The caller can then leave a message on RC voicemail. That voicemail is emailed to me. I would like to skip the RC voicemail and have missed calls record directly to my personal voicemail on Iphone. I have purchased snap recordings for all of the voice prompts in my phone system and it sounds really nice. However, I cannot find a way to replace the default voice for the dial by name directory (which sounds horrible). I paid for and want to use custom voice prompts completely throughout the system. I selected Ring Central for the ability to "completely customize" my phone system and the fact that I cannot change this seems absurd.

Post phone call survey: A post phone call survey is something very coming. Unfortunately, this feature is not available on Rink Central (Only for the Contact Center) After an agent handles a telephone call, I would like the call to be transferred to a third party application (Phone number) where the color will have the option of participating in a satisfaction survey. Is there a possibility of making this happen, or any alternative?

Our Company has the Company Name set as the Caller ID under Company info in RingCentral. But even with that one of the members of the Sales team still has there Caller ID show up as UNKNOWN CALLER or as another member of the team when it should just be the company name. This only happens on their Landline phone but not anything else. We have gone into the setting Outbound Calls/Faxes to change the specific Caller ID and it works afterwards temporarily. Then the next day it has changed back to the same problem. Any ideas for a permeant change? Is there something else that could effect it not being permeant like deleting cookies?

Hello!We have been using Ring Central for disaster response for a few months we provide 24/7 services. Our current architecture is not functioning as we would like. Currently we have one account and one phone number for 7 people. It goes through the ring central app installed on both phones and computers. We get unreliable calling behavior (calls only ringing 2 or 3 times when our settings are set to 12 rings) not all team members getting the alert on their phone. What I have gathered from support is that this is not what the service was intended to do.What are our requirements?Each team member needs the following:Access to text messages from our main numberAccess to voicemails from our main numberSynced contacts across all accountsBe able to transfer calls between accounts100% reliability so that when our main number rings all other accounts ringMissing a call due to some kind of technical failure is completely unacceptable and causes us to miss out on huge opportunities and costs us

Hello,Is it possible to have Ringcentral Automatically Forward all received voicemails as e-mail attachments to a designated e-mail address? I'm aware how to manually forward one voicemail to e-mail at a time, but i'm looking for a setting to automatically do this consistently....Thanks!

I am trying to get an expansion module for my Cisco cp 8861. According to ringcentral, only CP-BEKEM-3PCC (Old) works for this phone, but I cannot seem to find it as Cisco has discontinued this module. Anyone know where I can find it online?

Account type - USRecently, we have had some issues with call forwarding to TMobile and MetroPCS phone numbers.  Is anyone else experiencing this.  If we have a ring group to an employee's desk phone and cell phone and set the rings to 6, the cell phone with these providers hardly or never rings.  Not sure if this is a known issue or if there is any way around it.  10 users affected.

Is there a way to link everyone to the same Voicemail? I have a message only extension but is there a way to make it everyone's default Voicemail so they can just press the mail button and it is there? My boss does not want anyone to have their own mailbox

Would you please make text typed into Body of email-to-Fax messages render on first page of received faxes?This would be very convenient for RingCentral users who simply need to send a brief Fax message of a sentence or two, instead of having to open a Word Processor program, typing the message into that, name the file and save it, then attach that file to the email-to-fax @rcfax.com message.Some of RingCentral's competitors have been offering this useful feature for many years.When RingCentral Fax users type text into the emai-to-fax Subject line, that text appears on the first page of the fax.Please enhance this by also allowing whatever text is is typed into the Body of an email-to-fax message to also appear on the first page of the received fax.Thank you!

I'm trying to set up a IVR where say for example Press 1 for customer support.This then rings multiple users extensions OR rings one then the other, then.. and if no answer goes to a voice mail all those users can check. I see some close features here in RC but not this ability. For example if I set up a phone queue, the voice mails can only be seen by an admin and they have to long into an entirely different place etc. Is there a way to set up a virtual extension and have that consecutive or simul ring the extensions and then go to a voice mail all can check... and can an alert go out there is a voice mail?

Would it be possible to have the option to turn on/off a beep or disconnection tone to let you know a call has dropped/ended?

I have the desktop app and the mobile app on my iPhone XR. When I am sitting at my desk, I prefer to use my cell phone to answer calls, and they ring through the app just fine, but when I answer the call on my cell phone the audio defaults to the desktop computer app. How do I resolve this issue?

Hello. One of our users asked if this is possible. Similar to the Outlook delayed send on an email. Can they queue up a text message now and have it delivered some time in the future. Example, someone one the East of of the US is working a Customer Service issue for a customer who is on the West Coast. They don't want to send a text at 9.30 PST to be delivered at 6.30am PST. Thus the question if one can send now but delay delivery for a time in the future.

Clearly it's simple to give users the ability to change what number they display when the call out.But we have a group that is looking to allow users to show two different CallerID text options. We have one Master Account Site which is more like a master billing Site/Account. No active users/lines. Under that Master Account, we have a Site. From this site, we want to give the users to that site the ability to show two different names. Hello,Android users are currently experiencing blank pages when trying to log into the RingCentral app using Single Sign on. A user can enter their email address but it appears that the redirect to Okta never loads. Has anyone experienced this before, it seems to only be affecting our Android users. Has anyone run into this before?

How do you stop a call from coming in to a user whose line is already active? We are experiencing multiple calls at the same time which means that the Refused Call total is very high.

I bought a Cisco CP-8800-V-KEM-RF for a Cisco 8861. When I plug it in, it says accessory not supported. We have this sidecar on other 8861 with no problems. Any ideas?

We have been having issues with RingCentral calls coming through our Android phones for MONTHS! Nothing has really been fixed.We are a small business and we have one phone set up to get 6-rings before going to the second phone to also ring 6-times before then going to voicemail. The purpose of this is so a potential customer will hopefully get their call answered before they get to our voicemail so services are personal! On the first phone, it is hit and miss when a call will even come through. For instance yesterday the caller called our RingCentral number and the first caller was shocked the call even came through. The call was answered without issue! When that same caller called later in the evening, it never rang on the first phone, rang one the second phone, went to voicemail, and the first caller had gotten a notification email that there was a voicemail. Due to RingCentral reps changing things around to "fix" the issue, 1st Caller couldn't access voicemail.This is
