RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

Right now the phone tab and text message tab are separate tabs. How do I revert this change where they are one?

Do any of you have any "T46G" phones or have experience with using these phones on the RC system? They will provision but not sure what features work and don't work. Will they transfer, hold, park?

My Microsoft Surface2 Bluetooth headset works with every other desktop app I have. It will not work with RingCentral's desktop app, nor with the Chrome extension. My audio settings are all correct. What's going on?

Hello Everyone!We have a problem with the iPads in one of our rooms that has a lot of noise - and we were thinking that a Bluetooth speaker would help.Got an Anker and it works well with the phone, both iPhones and Androids - get the notifications on the phone and they 'ding' on the speaker.However; the iPad... no ding. Tried multiple iPads... no joy. Someone sends a message and the computer dings, the phone dings, the iPad... silent.Yes - the mobile settings are the same as the iPhone - not on Mute, and yes, I can select the sound on the iPad - hear it being selected... but the incoming notification - nada.Anyone else?Ideas, thoughts, sledgehammers?

Currently have numerous users unable to transfer calls via the desktop app. The option is currently greyed out.

We want to be able to see or here the Caller ID when we check our voice messages. As of now we only have the option of having it forwarded from the queue, which is no help when it come to contacting back the caller. Please add caller ID to the voicemail settings. It will help with accessibility in our end of the phone line. Thank you.

Our dial-by-name directory Search Criteria is by last name, and an employee was recently married. Consequently, many callers search by her previous name and are unable to reach her. Can we assign her a second dial-by-name entry for her previous name?

Is group message feature available in Rc chrome plugin?We want group text message feature in Chrome plugin extension

I am on a group text with 21 business colleagues. When I try to reply to the text, I get an error message on the RingCentral app that says "Cannot send message - exceeded maximum number of recipients for a Group MMS." One of the RC support team members said that I could use an addon app to prevent this issue, but he never sent me the info. Any assistance would be appreciate especially since it seems pretty silly that I can't reply to a simple group text through the RC app. Thank you.

When changing the voicemail PIN it is not working on our deskphones (Polycom VVX 450). Maybe there is a delay but its been about 15 minutes and another user and I still cannot check voicemail from the desk phone.We can view the voicemail from the app or web, but some users prefer to use the deskphone.

There are many holidays that occur on the same day each year yet we need to rebuild them each year changing only the year.Is there a way to have recurring holidays in the holiday custom rule?December 25th for Christmas as an example. Better yet the ability to set something like the 4th Thursday of November for US Thanksgiving but at least be able to set a date without the year and/or set it as recurring.I know my examples are US based but I'm sure everyone could benefit from such a feature.While I'm at it, how about the ability to import a holiday schedule?Additionally, how about the ability to copy/paste/reuse the holiday schedule across multiple sites in RC? Right now I have click through all five sites to set up the holiday schedules for each one and they are all exactly the same. We need to set pin number for voice mail? Are there any expiration for these pins we set? Where these expiration dates can be set?

I'd like the ability to have all of my users respond to the SMS's for the main number.

I would like to find out how to use my Airpods instead of headphones when making calls. I am not able to hear anything.

Hi there, we have created Ring Groups within different extensions, and placed them all in a queue on the "Rotating" setting. When one person within a Ring Group is on the phone, the entire extension is labeled as busy, thus skipping the entire extension with the people in the Ring Group.We want it to ring to the Ring Group even if there is one person who is on the phone, is there a way to do so? Could we have you change the settings on your end to allow us to do that?Thank you and let me know, as our company is growing rapidly this feature would be crucial to our success going forward.

I'm trying to use the desktop app to dial with and then pick up the handset on the phone to talk and listen but I cannot figure out how to do it. Any suggestions?

When running the RingCentral app on a Microsoft Windows RDSH environment, we are having issues where we are unable to see audio devices within the app on the latest versions. The last known version we have working is 21.1.10.2888.Wondering if anyone has seen this issue before or has any recommendations on what to try to do to resolve. In RC desktop app how to setup and arrange text messages in ascending or descending order?

I want to point out some design flaws w/ the app in case RC is listening:1. Message icon/feature- uses the standard text icon, yet it's not for texting- texting is found under phone, always confusing because the text icon is front and center, yet it's not for texting2. Meetings are named Video- Why labeled Video? what if I'm starting a meeting that is not a video meeting, audio only or screen share? It took me a while to figure out that I click the Video button even when video is not involved. It still feels wrong to click Video for a screen share.-- just rename this icon Meetings?- Join a meeting - why is my personal Meeting not defaulted? I always have to choose it3. Messaging feature itself- stick to your core functions. We use Slack for group communications4. Workspace- Tasks/Calendar - ditto above, stick to core functions. Would there be anyway to add wordage underneath or beside an individual's name when they are busy (i.e. on a call, busy, available) within parenthesis?. Having the dot is helpful but with being Red-Green color blind, it is hard to determine the colors.
