RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

We are having issue with calls being sent to the queue and it doesn't ring any available agents.Initially, I had it to ring all simultaneously and occasionally (5-6 times a day), you will see call sits in the queue for more than 10 minutes and then eventually become abandoned.I then have it set up queue as rotating and setup to transfer calls waited over 3 minutes to send to voice mail (rather than losing the call) but I can still find calls sits in the queue for over 3 minutes and then changed to abandoned after 4-5 minutes.I have re-created the queue as support suggested and it doesn't help.Does anyone have experience with losing calls in the call queue?

I have a small patient care practice with multiple people answering the phones, voice mails and faxes. I need a single place (as much as possible). What's the easiest solution. I set up a phone queue but "waiting in the queue" is OK but the callers need to be able to leave a message if they don't want to wait. If they leave a message I need an easy place for everyone to share getting the messages. So thinking maybe, shared extension is better, or is that silly since there doesn't seem to be an easy way for people to share checking the voice mails. So here are my questions:3 people taking calls at random times, what's the best way to get the calls to the peopleWhat's the easiest way to get the calls they miss to voice mailIf you say queue, then how can I get the folks holding in the queue to a opt to leave a voice mail option?and...Can I have the company Fax number go to the box where everyone can check the fax? Is there a way to force a footer on the bottom of every fax cover sheet (HIPAA compliance notice)? There seems to have previously have been a way to add a custom cover sheet, but that function seems to be gone (at least in the Win app). Is there a way to globally load a cover sheet or force any cover to include a footer I create?

Our company recently got rid of our old telecom system and have moved exclusively to VOIP with ring. Currently, our voicemails are forwarded to a designated email folder in the company email suite. Regular users cannot access voicemail messages from the app. Where can I go to change it so that all users can receive voicemails to the ring application? TK

Hello there,At work probably 1 in 20 calls on my phone is actually for me.I'm in a call group called Support and I only answer those if they ring for 1 minute or more.As the majority of calls that ring on my phone are for support, when I'm engrossed in work and the phone rings, I don't even look at the screen and so I miss the few internal or DDI calls.It would make things much better if direct calls to my phone (internal or external) had one ringtone and any calls to my phone from being in a group could have a different ringtone.It seems this isn't possible at the moment, but I hoe it could be added, as I reckon a lot of people could benefit from it.

My Logitech headset microphone is not working for the phone app.has anyone had this happen before?

We have a user who receives inbound calls through RingCentral. Occasionally, she will need to place the inbound call on hold to call out to her team for assistance regarding various issues. Her calls to her team are through Microsoft Teams. When she makes the call via Teams, the call in RingCentral unmutes her audio and the caller is able to hear the entire conversation being had through Teams, but their audio is muted for the user from RingCentral (One-sided call, where only the inbound caller can hear) until they are removed from hold. This issue is happening on multiple computers, with or without a headset. All settings I can think to look at have turned up nothing that would cause this issue.

We need to be able to text from our main number ONLY!!!! Because the system won't default to that, our staff is sending texts from our main number AND our other number, causing major confusion amongst our customers. The customer is getting texts from two different phone numbers and therefore, two different strings of messages. THIS. HAS. TO. STOP!!!!! How do we fix this?!?!?!?!?!

When RC Meetings and RC Phone were separate applications, I would keep RC Phone closed so that my desktop wouldn't ring, just my phone would on incoming calls. Now that they are combined, I can't keep my desktop from ringing, even when I am in the middle of an RC Meeting. It's extremely annoying and embarrassing to try and figure out how to shut off the call, mute myself, send the call to voicemail, etc. Maybe this is something in settings I can't seem to find?

We have a need to set the hardphone to ring first, then roll (sequentially) to either the mobile app or the cellphone.  When will this feature be available?

I know in the queue, the caller can send themselves to a message only box (press 5 to leave a message), but can they send themselves to the voice mail for the queue?... so there are not more than one voice box to check?I need an easy way for ALL people in the queue to be able to check and manage the messages that result in the phone queue not being answered... and if a caller doesn't want to wait for an agent to get to the same voice mail

Feature request : turning off Always ring for at least 30 seconds before forwarding is completed even if customer is using the RC app mobile

Just notice the "Automatic Call Recording" is no longer activated. We went to Admin Portal > Phone System > Auto-Receptionist > General Settings > Call Recording, but only see the "on-demanding recording" option. Has ringcentral taken off the "automatic call recording" recently?

We are an international company with clients around the world. We have direct line and extension setup with Standard Internatinal user role. However, my super admin cannot make international calls. Is this right? It seems to me that Super Admin role should be able to do anything within RC that the account is setup to do.

Why is the UK always left behind when it comes to features implemented years ago for the US and other countries? We've been asking for the ability to send SMS from our UK  Ring Central account for years and nothing happens. Same with local area code dialling. I see Mexico, Australia, China & the US all have this ability, but yet again, NOT the UK.

We are trying to determine if fax to email aligns with our security posture. As seen on RC documentation and inspected in Message Trace we have confirmed outbound faxes are encrypted. This part we are content with. The issue is inbound fax to email from customers/vendors that are using a physical fax machine. Once that fax is sent to RC's address we don't know what happens. Is the document faxes being encrypted before transport to our mail servers? Hopefully someone has the answer or can point to me documentation with the information.Thanks, John

I'm a single operation and don't need and will never use all the internal messaging, tasks, etc. Is there a way we can turn these off so we only see the telephone, text, fax, and video meeting interfaces and don't have to navigate around the others? Also, I'd appreciate being able to dial my desk phone from the app like I used to be able to do.

Having a different ring when a call comes directly to their phone, vs when it is comes through the mainline number that has a call que set up to go to multiple different people? (i.e. if someone were to call my direct line or my extension directly as opposed to calling the main business number that has a call que set for it to ring to four different people until someone answers it so that we would by the different type of ring?

Can not save out important contacts in the application.

Please indicate which phones will be set for this resync AND will resync correct the issues that Polycom phones that are experiencing presence issues due to firmware - I have an open case and informed it is a firmware issue as one of my clients can only see the outbound presence and not inbound calls on hold for other users to assist that caller.

Is there is any option to print the text sms messages from our desktop phone apps?

Hello,I'm using the RingCentral Desktop App on my iMac. I was able to see all messages in the middle, but now I can't. As with the other features (i.e. All Calls; All Voicemail; All Faxes), I would like to see All Texts like I once did. I'm not sure what happened.As of now, I can see my customers' names/phone numbers on the left. In the middle of the app is the text message exchanges for the person's name that's highlighted on the left under TEXT. Before, I was able to see everyone's messages in the middle, like on the RC Web version. Please advise.Thanks!

I'm a dual account holder with two different companies. I have the main RC account (direct #) that I use for all activities and then I have an ext-only account (call 800# and dial ext) for my client. Most of my client's callers use my direct # but we use the RC desktop (formerly Glip) to communicate during the day or make quick calls with each other.With the recent retirement of the RC desktop and softphone, I'm in need of a workaround. I tried setting up an ext /speed dial from my direct # but it's not working. Does anyone have a workaround?

Our 0800 numbers have been since Wednesday, reported on Thursday and still down. They say they are working on it with their carrier down the line, but they can not give me a timescale, i asked what SLA they had with their carrier & they didnt know.So we are losing lots of money as we cannot receive these calls.Any ideas on how i esculate this?ThanksAs
