RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

So this is odd. Why do the mobile and desktop apps ignore the Ring For setting when it's set for less than 3 rings? If I set it for 1/5 they still ring for 3/15. The Always ring 30 setting doesn't seem to make much difference here. Worse, if the user has a physical phone then there's a 20-ish second delay in the physical phone ringing UNLESS I set the Desktop & Mobile to 0/0.

When I schedule a meeting and change the title of the meeting, the default title is populated in the list of meetings on the meetings page of the app, not what I changed the title to be in the scheduling screen.Also, after I join a scheduled meeting, when I go back to the Meetings screen in the unified app, the meeting is now listed twice - same time, title and meeting ID #,You CANNOT retire the RingCentral Meetings app until this feature is available. It is critical for our work product to be able to remotely control our agency computers.

Hiya,I was looking for shortcuts on how to end calls without having to click and found this guide -https://support.ringcentral.co.uk/s/article/784?language=en_GB#How%20to%20customize%20keyboard%20shortcuts%20for%20the%20RingCentral%20Desktop%20appBut none of the shortcuts work. When I click the gear icon too there is no option to rebind keys relating to the phone system, only the messaging and chat functions.Is there a way to do this or was it removed from the app?Thanks!

Hello. I am a tech and I'm working with a user who will sometimes get a "Your call is parked at location *801" message when ending a call. There's not an option to disconnect, and the only thing the user can do is close out RingCentral Phone and reopen. Then it is gone. I've purged the data and deauthorized the machine. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest RingCentral Phone v21 on the Windows 10 Pro machine. Out of a few hundred users, this is the only user that this is happening to.Has anyone come across this issue?Thanks!

I need to be able to schedule conference calls from the desktop app. This was a function on the previous version, but does not appear on the new app except for in the teams environment which is useless for calls scheduled for outside participants. Please add the audio conference call scheduling ASAP. It should never have been removed.

I've recently purchased a new PC with Windows 10 and installed Office 2019. I can not figure out how to integrate RingCentral with Office as I have on previous computers. The only RingCentral feature I want/need/use is the ability to fax directly from Word to a recipient.

Is anyone else having problems after this latest update? We've got weird things happening, like multiple calls coming in from the same # at the same time, calls dropping for no reason, statuses not updating on the HUD and on the mobile app. 

,can you please add the feature of displaying a name and number of an any inbound caller. example : John Smith 999-999-9999. This feature would be greatly appreciated.

We are less than a month from go live on RC and I'm still fighting trying to get AudioCodes MP-124 devices to work properly with RC. I get the analog ports to show as registered both on the Audiocodes as well as on the RC side. But every time I lift a handset, I get nothing but a fast busy as soon as it is lifted. The logs on the AudioCodes shows constant rebuilding of the outbound proxy connections, so I believe that is where the problem originates, but nothing I've tried seems to help with this issue. Does anybody have experience getting these to function properly

Recently have been getting 'Web Phone Unavailable' message on the Ringcentral Chrome Extension... please advise

I have submitted multiple requests with regards to this question. ALL our blocked numbers under the Super Admin has disappeared. The first time, they have re-added it for us which was fine. Since then it has happened again and now they're asking us to add THOUSANDS OF NUMBERS to the Blocked Numbers list in the Super Admin extension. It would be fine if there's a mass add function where we upload a CSV and add all the numbers found there but no, we have to go page by page and add them. I contacted them again last month and again today but apparently there has been no movement from the engineering team with regards to this problem. It is a serious problem if call blocking is not stable. 

we're UK based and now we need to activate SMS service on our USA number, there is no option available for SMS using desktop version, please assist.

How many (maximum) personal contacts can be uploaded in an account?

It is very disappointing to see that this request has been an open issue since 2014. Please add the option for a call queue participant to turn off the prompt to accept call for non RingCentral phones. Is it common for customer requested features to languish for 7 years without any update?

The new desk top app is horrible. You can no preview messages under each phone number. You have to select each text message to see what it says. Where is the preview option?,The new Desktop app is horrible. It doesn't allow you to preveiw the text messages associated with the phone number. You have to select each phone number to see what it says. It also doesn't sync to the mobile app. Hos is this a complete integrates system if you can't sync the 2!

Now that 80 % of our employees are working from home, when they are one their Ring Central smart phone, when the second call comes in , they dont see and sometimes miss the important client calls.At the end of the week, when we present the Annalistic phone reports to the owner and managers, it shows many uses have missed so many calls, and the owner gets upset, at a  point that wants to fire people.Can you please come up with a new version, that shows the call waiting?It does not matter what the employee says that they did not miss and phone was right next to them, but the report shows otherwise.Please let me know when you can add this feature.Regards,

I would like to be able to delete a voicemail from a link in the email sent to the user

In the ringcentral portal you can forward calls to other non ringcentral devices such as mobile phones by manually typing the number and forwarding to other ringcentral users, but according to support this only works f or the RC Phone app and you can't forward calls to other users using Glip as their softphone.Please add a feature to forward calls to other users in GlipI thought manually typing the number would work because it is just an arbitrary phone number, but if you try to receive the call forwarding in Glip it will never happen. You  have to be using RC Phone instead which is odd that this rule applies if its a ringcentral phone number, but not any other phone number.

Started after recent RingCentral updates.During meetings, one user's profile picture is displayed above the actual attendee's name. Is this happening to others?

I would like to be able to set up my voicemail (Not the Greeting) so that I can give them the option of choosing an extension. The example would be. "I am out of the office right now, if you want to talk to Bob choose extension 201, to Carol choose extension 203." -or- "Our office is now closed to leave a message press #, to get our hours press 201, our street address 202..."

Since the day I upgraded the OS on my Macbook Pro to Big Sur, I've experienced numerous issues with the RingCentral app. It will freeze on many occasions. While it can happen at any time, it will typically happen when I hit the "gallery view" or press "join breakout room". The entire app will freeze, and I am then forced to "force quit".It's been almost 4 months since updating my OS. I think it's about time that RingCentral fixes these bugs to be more compatible with Big Sur. Otherwise, what is the point of paying them? They are losing my trust at this point. Seems as if there is never an update for their software.

Using the Web App, you had the ability to add an optional title to the link to make it clearer as to what the link is. Is this feature no longer going to be available for either the Desktop or Web Apps?

is it possible for RC to have a chat icon on my website , so a visitor can sms to the RC apps directly from my website ?

Our accounting clerk is working with 10 bank accounts that send their verification codes by using our main company phone number. She is unable to receive these automated verification calls because our auto receptionist picks up and runs her script. Is there a way to push these calls directly to her without changing the number in the bank accounts or a way to turn the auto receptionist off for a short time to allow her to get these verification calls?
