RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

Our previous system let us Page a *group* of phones, and then let someone pick up a phone and talk to the person Paging. This like a hybrid of Intercom and Paging. It doesn't seem to be possible in RC - as the support page states: "Paging is a one-way broadcast on one or multiple devices/users, while Intercom is a peer-to-peer, two-way communication between two devices/users. " What is the difference between Paging and Intercom? (ringcentral.com)Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

i downloaded the new version of ring central on my desktop. i dont see my tasks listed in my calendar anymore. why?

Using the ringcentral app, can there be a way to have extension numbers as a display when doing a call transfer using ringcentral app.

When we receive a voicemail through the RC system, we will often listen to it on our desk phones (Yealink T48S). The voicemail system reads off the number that left the voicemail, which is nice, but it reads the number off in a very strange way. I have outlined how it does it belowNumber is 1-254-260-4300RC Reads out loud - "twelve billion, five-hundred and forty-two million, six-hundred and four thousand, three-hundred"Is there any way to have the system read the number out loud in this manner instead?"One, Two, Five, Four, Two, Six, Zero, Four, Three, Zero, Zero"The number readout is very hard to understand as it is currently.

In our practice we have a large amount of users that move from building to building and then need to have other users phone calls forwarded to them. But if we forward calls to the user hot desk'ed into a different phone than their assigned desk phone the calls don't make it to them. What we do in the interim is forward the calls to the physical desk phones DID. This process is cumbersome b/c it requires IT's intervention every time. I feel as if this is a huge design flaw and needs to be redesigned. If a user signs into a hot desk phone their DID should override the DID of the phone, so users can forward calls to the user signed into the phone. If this isn't possible then what is the point of being able to sign into the phone to being with.

Auto Dial via HotKey F6 does not work on new softphone only copies and pastes. You still have to initiate the call from the softphone to start the ringout/phone call. Will this functionality ever be restored? 

Has anyone noticed and/or resolved call quality issue when using Apple Airpods Pro on a quality cellular data connection to make/receive calls on the RingCentral iPhone app?I have some quality issues without the AirPods when sending/receiving calls via the RingCentral iPhone app over cellular data, but when I switch to my Apple Airpods Pro the quality gets so bad they can barely understand me, according to the person on the other end of the call.

Where can I download the RingCentral App BETA released today that includes HUD?

The mobile app has random strangers listed under "Guests" that need to be deleted.When I upgraded my app, over 40 "guests" appeared. I couldn't delete them so I uninstalled and reinstalled the old app. It recently upgraded and I have unwanted guests. How do I delete them?

Customers have complained about how loud the connecting and hold music is. There is a slider to adjust the volume, but it will not save. It goes back to the default, which is the full volume. This seems to be an oversight on the part of the programmers. Customers should not have to turn down their phones just for the hold music, then turn it back up to talk to someone. Hold music should be able to be set at a decent volume. Did you know that your hold music for Ring Central is extremely loud as well? I have to turn down my phone when I'm put on hold, then turn it back up when a customer support person gets back on the phone.

How do I transfer the lines to our on call service for lunch or in office meetings during working hours.,I am trying to figure out how to transfer the lines to our after hour service when we need to have an in office meeting or lunch during working hours.

I'm running Windows 10 (version 1909) and RingCentral Classic (version 20.2.21 E. 7.1.8).  I've noticed Windows Notification for a RC inbound call will only appear on my screen for about 5 seconds and then disappear.  I've tried adjusting the option for Windows Settings for "show notifications" to 1 minute.  Outlook's new email notifications will stay on the screen for 1 minute but inbound calls still disappear after 5 seconds.  One other observation, when I get an incoming call, RingCentral Classic doesn't switch to the foreground (adding to my frustration to answer the call in time).    Any suggestions?  

After deleting call log, missed calls are still being displayed on phone panel.

Many names under the text heading have gray dots, one green dot. If I mouse over the name the dot disappears. All of the texts have been previously viewed

The new version of ring central lacks the ability to comment on a task. This is essential for our team and how we function. I had a new employee today try to download the ring central classic app and was automatically diverted to download the new version with a message stating ring central classic is no longer available. Why is this not a feature in the new version??

We need to record JUST one speaker in a Glip Ringcentral Video Meeting. Now when we record, no matter what view we are in - it records the grid. This is needed on SO many applications of video conferencing. I can't believe it is not included in Glip Ringcentral. Any way around this?

It appears in Zapier you can add a contact to your CRM or Google Contacts when a new contact is created in Ring Central but not the other way around. I want to add a contact to Ring Central when one is created in my CRM.

I work for a company that has 300+ users and we use AS400 which utilizes F6 & F8 to perform functions and these two keys are assigned to ring central - we have not rolled out yet but need to make s global setting as many users, as easy as it is, will have issue over whelming our support desk if depolyed

If I receive a call which I don't want to attend that particular time but want to reject it with sending a sms message to the caller something like "Call you later" or "I am busy now", how can be done in Ringcentral?

If a user add a contact number here in Ringcentral only that user can view the contact info. Is there any way that to make the saved contact info a global access to all other users across the company or any way to add that into company contact list?

We would like to be able to give each call queue a priority level. For example, if a caller has been waiting for 3 minutes and is in call queue #3, we would like this call patched through to one of our agents before a caller in Call Que #1 or #2.I would like to be able to have a feature to where is a caller is in a specific call queue no matter what that call would get prioritized. For example, a caller in call queue 3 would get run through to an agent before a caller in call queue 1

We were forced to migrate to the new RC Desktop App from RingCentral Phone app. It seems like actual phone features are being further and further pushed out by all this Glip stuff. I mean, I can't even organize my contacts into groups or favorites. Instead I have to search every time.

Why can RingCentral mobile not stay connected to Bluetooth devices?  I have used at least a couple of Bluetooth devices on a couple of different phones, and the connectivity to Bluetooth is always an issue.  When I am on calls, it bounces back and forth between the default headset (which is the actual cell phone) and my Bluetooth device.  I will be in the middle of a conversation and suddenly the audio drops from one device and picks up on the other; for example, I may lose the call on my headset and then plug in the Bluetooth to realize that it has transferred over to it.  This is extremely frustrating. 

I'm looking for a feature that Google Voice has. I want to dial out from the desktop app and the phone app execute the "dial out".Steps laid-out:1) I Input the number via Desktop App --> 2) I hit dial --> 3) Phone App "picks up/receives the command" for step 2's dial out request --> 4) Phone app executes dial out request ,I'm looking for a feature that Google Voice has.
