Does anyone know how to find the LLDP Setting on the phone.

Started last week. Calls to an office group are causing a phone in another office to ring as well. That phone cannot however pick up that call. Very irritating now due to double the number of rings occurring.

Seems simple enough. My boss and I would both like to see all incoming faxes in our desktop apps.Someone has to have solved this problem.

I am the front line of the phones, and we have a setup where it rings on my mobile first (RingCentral App), then my physical phone in the office, then it rolls over to a group. However, every time a call comes in, one of the phones at the office will always ring 4 times before it goes to the front desk. The phone it is ringing on is not listed at all in my call group. My settings are all correct, we cannot figure out why this phone is ringing.

We are requesting the addition of either Call queue-based Caller ID (The Caller ID you are apart of determines the Caller ID) or adding Caller ID to individual system phone numbers on the account.We have a customer with multiple businesses operating out of the same phone system, but the users branch across the 3 different companies. They can easily take the calls for X Y and Z Company, but as it is currently, they cannot call out and show as that company name, unless they change their caller ID on their user account. And even then, it only shows the phone number currently for the queue, not the Company Name associated to that queue.Another way to go about this is to modify Multi-site = Allow users to be apart of multiple sites. I was informed Multisite allows you to call out as those specific locations number, and have caller ID for that location. Is there a concept of a "system wide speed dial" - I.e numbers we can program in that can be speed dialed from either a soft button on each phone, or dialing a special code (I.e. dialing "*1" from any phone on the platform would call a number we have defined in the system?)

We would love to have the option to have more than 0-9 key presses then just the typical 10 buttons.

According to this article ((1) Update Call Queue Messages and Notification Settings on the RingCentral Online Account), which by now may have been conveniently changed, it states that the option mark voicemails as read once they've been emailed should be available to select. However, the whole advanced settings menu is missing with no way to enable it.Live Chat tried to tell me it's better for it to go to a specific extension, and create an email distribution group which is great but then the forwarded users personal voicemail will also go the distribution group.All I'm trying to achieve is once a call comes into the call queue group and goes to voicemail, it gets automatically marked as read once the email goes it with the attachment on. Doesn't seem there is a way to do this unless I'm mistaken

New to this...How do I set up an extension on a handset in a common area/room so that the extension can only dial to other extensions. The extension does not need outside dialing.Thanks,ft.

How can a call queue member access and manage the voice mail messages left on call queue voice mail box? Can a member manage the vm's from the RingCentral windows client?and/or Web Client?As Call Queue manager with full access we can see and manage the vm from the web client but can do from the desktop client?

I have a user that has a few speed dials setup on his phone. However, for one of his contacts, if that contact receives a call, his phone will ring too. I've looked everywhere for a setting but can't find how to turn that off. What is the secret? Thanks.

I'm writing this message a second time since the first one didn't go through after clicking on 'Post your question'?? I've also called the support line twice and started a ticket but both calls dropped.The first time I noticed the issue and learned to live with, was the way texts appeared when using the mobile app on my android. Texts were not in chronological order. The workaround for me was simply to then log into my desktop app and the texts seemed to be in order. I have recently became a Ring Central client. I have noticed some differences in the PC app and the Mobile Phone App. When I assign a task I can do a reply in the app to the task and it keeps it noted in the task but you can not do this in the pc app. In the pc app you can only respond in the team witch has all the task in it so you cant tell witch task your responding to. Where is the Reply to task like the mobile app has.

I am brand new user and have tried to google up this answer, to no avail. We just started using RC at my company and I do not understand the difference between "Desktop & Mobile Apps" and "XYZ's Softphone" (see pic below). These are the defaults that got created with our accounts, but to me they both refer to the same thing? Or does Desktop in this case refer to a physical handset sitting on top of desk and if that is the case, what is meant by "mobile apps"? I thought Softphone referred to the software applications that run RC on my laptop/PC and/or my mobile devices. Please help clarify. Thanks in advance--

I am trying to find a way to record JUST the speaker in a Glip Ringcentral video meeting. It is available in Ringcentral Meetings, but not Glip's Ringcentral. This is a deal breaker for Ringcentral - whether it be a teacher using this for virtual classroom or a business meeting, being able to record just the teacher/leader is an essential ingredient that should be rectified immediately! But in the meantime, is there a work-around to record just the speaker? I love Glip but without this necessary function - too many will be forced to move to another platform! Glip Ringcentral has so much to offer that other platforms lack but this..... THIS is unacceptable and deems it non-functional for many in education and business - and will cause many to jump to another program. I have been consulting schools, churches and businesses, touting Glip..... but what to do about this one huge STRIKE.... I know you all have amazing ideas! Shoot them at me! HELP!

The application for a municipality is this: Outside caller dials a 10-digit phone number. The call rings multiple phones. Someone answers the call. And immediately both sides of the conversation is heard overhead through paging. So far Algo and CyberData say it cannot be done.It would be great if I can use the existing overhead paging system that consists of amplifier and speakers/horns. But if I need to completely replace the overhead paging with IP units that is ok.

Hello,Ever since the most recent update, the chime is no longer playing when an attendee enters the waiting room (on both RingCentral Meetings AND RingCentral Video). Now, when someone enters the waiting room, I only get a text notification on the top of my screen (no sound). Once the attendee has been admitted into the meeting, however, I do hear the chime. I am running macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 on a 2018 MacBook Air with an Intel processor.

Please see email undeliverable message below. All users used to be able to send efax from their email but as of last Friday they can only send efax's thru the ring central web portal or app and their email gives them this bounce back to multiple different destination fax numbers. Any thoughts? Happy to provide any more info.

11-01-2017  USA-based account 2287 users 3800 DID lines - after last week's update to our POD, a few of our Polycom VVX500 are displaying a weird behavior --- the phone does a brief warble and calls are not getting through on those lines. I  am logging the few reported instances  today to see if it goes away.  We have already unplugged these phones, leaving them off for a half hour and then restarting them. Only a few phones effected. If it continues, I will open a case. Anyone else see this on yours?

The red light on the soft key of my assistant's extension stays on. It is the soft key linked to my extension. The light goes green when a call connects. How can I get this reset?

We have staff reporting very poor voice quality for phone connections.Note that Staff are using the desktop app while they are remote during the quarantine. Some calls are so bad that they must be dropped entirely and moved to cellular networks.Are there tools available to inspect call logs or any other tools available to troubleshoot these quality issues? Is this a local internet connection problem or is this something on Ring Central's side?

When person calls my user from an iphone and then wants to Merge (conference) another call. As soon as they hit Merge, the call to the Ring Deskphone drops immediately. I tested this on multiple ios devices with different versions and it happens on all of them. How could this be ? I have never heard of a system in which conferencing calling is effected in this way.
