Can I schedule recurring video meeting in Glip to get constant link that I can send to participants? Like with PMI?,Hello,is there a possibility to chedule recurrent meeting in Glip like in Zoom? I want to get constant link, like for PMI and send it to group of people, who will join my video meeting every week. Can I do this?

I have a user that has a few speed dials setup on his phone. However, for one of his contacts, if that contact receives a call, his phone will ring too. I've looked everywhere for a setting but can't find how to turn that off. What is the secret? Thanks.

I'm writing this message a second time since the first one didn't go through after clicking on 'Post your question'?? I've also called the support line twice and started a ticket but both calls dropped.The first time I noticed the issue and learned to live with, was the way texts appeared when using the mobile app on my android. Texts were not in chronological order. The workaround for me was simply to then log into my desktop app and the texts seemed to be in order. But now it’s happening on the desktop app. I type out a message hit enter and it doesn’t appear and/or the texts get jumbled with other responses from previous days.Today I got as far as having the second technician say that its a known issue and due to having multiple internal staff (3) logged into the 1 desktop account (who all work remotely) who are monitoring the texts is the cause and asked me to then add a request to the Community page?? One of the main reasons why we chose Ringcentral

I have recently became a Ring Central client. I have noticed some differences in the PC app and the Mobile Phone App. When I assign a task I can do a reply in the app to the task and it keeps it noted in the task but you can not do this in the pc app. In the pc app you can only respond in the team witch has all the task in it so you cant tell witch task your responding to. Where is the Reply to task like the mobile app has.

I am brand new user and have tried to google up this answer, to no avail. We just started using RC at my company and I do not understand the difference between "Desktop & Mobile Apps" and "XYZ's Softphone" (see pic below). These are the defaults that got created with our accounts, but to me they both refer to the same thing? Or does Desktop in this case refer to a physical handset sitting on top of desk and if that is the case, what is meant by "mobile apps"? I thought Softphone referred to the software applications that run RC on my laptop/PC and/or my mobile devices. Please help clarify. Thanks in advance--

I am trying to find a way to record JUST the speaker in a Glip Ringcentral video meeting. It is available in Ringcentral Meetings, but not Glip's Ringcentral. This is a deal breaker for Ringcentral - whether it be a teacher using this for virtual classroom or a business meeting, being able to record just the teacher/leader is an essential ingredient that should be rectified immediately! But in the meantime, is there a work-around to record just the speaker? I love Glip but without this necessary function - too many will be forced to move to another platform! Glip Ringcentral has so much to offer that other platforms lack but this..... THIS is unacceptable and deems it non-functional for many in education and business - and will cause many to jump to another program. I have been consulting schools, churches and businesses, touting Glip..... but what to do about this one huge STRIKE.... I know you all have amazing ideas! Shoot them at me! HELP!

The application for a municipality is this: Outside caller dials a 10-digit phone number. The call rings multiple phones. Someone answers the call. And immediately both sides of the conversation is heard overhead through paging. So far Algo and CyberData say it cannot be done.It would be great if I can use the existing overhead paging system that consists of amplifier and speakers/horns. But if I need to completely replace the overhead paging with IP units that is ok.

Hello,Ever since the most recent update, the chime is no longer playing when an attendee enters the waiting room (on both RingCentral Meetings AND RingCentral Video). Now, when someone enters the waiting room, I only get a text notification on the top of my screen (no sound). Once the attendee has been admitted into the meeting, however, I do hear the chime. I am running macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 on a 2018 MacBook Air with an Intel processor.

All users used to be able to send efax from their email but as of last Friday they can only send efax's thru the ring central web portal or app and their email gives them this bounce back to multiple different destination fax numbers. 11-01-2017  USA-based account 2287 users 3800 DID lines - after last week's update to our POD, a few of our Polycom VVX500 are displaying a weird behavior --- the phone does a brief warble and calls are not getting through on those lines. I  am logging the few reported instances  today to see if it goes away.  We have already unplugged these phones, leaving them off for a half hour and then restarting them. Only a few phones effected. If it continues, I will open a case. Anyone else see this on yours?

The red light on the soft key of my assistant's extension stays on. It is the soft key linked to my extension. The light goes green when a call connects. How can I get this reset?

We have staff reporting very poor voice quality for phone connections.Note that Staff are using the desktop app while they are remote during the quarantine. Some calls are so bad that they must be dropped entirely and moved to cellular networks.Are there tools available to inspect call logs or any other tools available to troubleshoot these quality issues? Is this a local internet connection problem or is this something on Ring Central's side?

When person calls my user from an iphone and then wants to Merge (conference) another call. As soon as they hit Merge, the call to the Ring Deskphone drops immediately. I tested this on multiple ios devices with different versions and it happens on all of them. How could this be ? I have never heard of a system in which conferencing calling is effected in this way.

Site in South Korea has delay in voice. We need a media flow so that our Network people understand the connect. Found somehow Korea agent are logging in the Europe Data Center and not the Asia Pac.

Two users both on iOS. When a call comes through and it rings into iOS ringcentral completely takes over the phone. Rejecting the call just causes ringcentral to ring through a moment later. Ideally if both users reject the call the call should go to voicemail.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add pauses into the text to speech function in ring central? The way it is done sounds very unnatural and would benefit from some pauses in certain places. Thanks Alex

I do not want callers to hear the recording or options when dialing the number. I want it forwarded to 1 number and if that person does not answer - I would like the caller to hear a specific voicemail.

Hi!I've been trying to connect form entries on Instapage to trigger an automated text via Ring Central through Zapier, but I keep getting the error: "The app returned "International SMS is not available for account."All of our numbers are domestic US. Ring central dev department will not get back to me. I've ensured the formatting of the numbers from the source submissions are forced to format US. Any answers for me?

Hi everyone,I have a basic account with 1 phone number. I created three extensions as a means to separate the calls. The main number and three extensions were all created with the same email address. When I sign into the app, I can only view 1 extension at a time. I am hoping to figure out a way to view the main number and three additional extension calls and messages at the same time on the app.Thanks!Jason

Can we have the feature to disable by user the E911 alert? It appears to pop up everytime the app starts and you go to dial out to someone. It adds that extra step before a user goes to dial and can be obtrusive most of the time. If I can disable by user, it would be helpful. Thanks!

Phone is on a reboot loop

Is there a filter on Analytics to allow you to see how many phone calls an employee misses when in a que call? Also to where they are accurate counting, so if the call is coming in and line 1 is on a call it not going to count against line 1 if line 2 answers the call. There is a column for missed, but it will w/ voicemail and for our situation they do not leave voicemails on each line its a main line.

It does not appear to be possible to block SPAM SMS messages sent from a short code (e.g. 78645).  The block icon does not appear when displaying the message in the windows application like it would for a text from a regular number and when you try to add the short code to the list of numbers in the settings window it does not accept the number and displays the message "Extension numbers cannot be blocked".  It doesn't work on the website either.  It adds a 1 to the short code (178645).
