Dear Team,

We are currently using Ring Central for AR calling, and we are experiencing an issue specifically during Medicare calls. When we enter *11, the call automatically goes on hold without any manual action from our side.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Is there any way to disable or remove the hold shortcut associated with *11 in RingCentral

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

*1 is associated with Call Flip. You’ll want to go the user profile under Phone> Call Flip and remove the entry for *1

Hi @ahebron,

Thank you so much for your prompt and clear guidance!

We’ve been facing this *11 auto‑hold issue for a long time, and your explanation about *1 being linked to Call Flip finally gave us the exact direction we needed. I really appreciate you pointing out the path to disable the shortcut under User Profile → Phone → Call Flip.

Your solution has genuinely helped resolve a problem that was affecting our workflow.
