I have enabled All RingCentral Users to receive Email Notifications when we receive an incoming Text Message; however, I am the only one receiving Email Notifications. How do I enable all our users to receive incoming Text Message notifications by email?

It sounds like you might have updated the messaging notifications for just your own personal extension instead of applying it across the board to the other users!

Because each user extension has its own independent notification rules, updating your own "My Extension" settings won't automatically push those changes out to everyone else on the team.

Since you are the administrator, you can easily go into the Admin Portal and configure this for your other users. Here is how you can update them:

1.Log into the Admin Portal:Admin view.

Sign in to your RingCentral Admin Portal. In the top right corner, make sure the dropdown is set to Admin Portal (not My Extension).

2.Navigate to your Users list:Select a team member.

Go to the Users tab at the top, and select Users with Extensions. Click on the name of a user who needs text notifications enabled.

3.Go to their Notification settings:Open messaging rules.

Click on the user's Notifications tab in their sub-menu, then click to expand the Messaging Notifications section.

4.Check the Text Message box:Activate the email alert.

Under the Email column, check the box next to Text Messages. Make sure their correct email address is entered in the "Send notifications to" field right below it, then hit Save.

Pro Tip: If you have a massive team and don't want to click through every single user manually, you can use the Templates feature under Users > User Templates. You can create a notification template with the text-to-email box checked and apply it to all of your users simultaneously to save a bunch of time!

For a full breakdown of advanced vs. basic notification settings, you can check out the official Managing Messaging Notifications in the Admin Portal guide.
