Folder for text / SMS messages?

Hi! New-ish user here. It looks like folders can be created for “Messages” but not “Texts’ in the app. This would be helpful to organize SMS texts...for example, when a text message has been actioned so you want to move it out of the main display, but need to reference it later.

The app we used previously, Texting Ninja, had an “Archive” function that did this (not to be confused with RC’s Archive function).

Is there any way to accomplish this type of folder organization for texts? Is it a roadmap item? Thanks!

Hi @tf-otay, you’re spot on. While folders exist for internal Messages, they aren't currently available for Texts. This is a great suggestion for keeping a clean workspace!

While we don't have a confirmed timeline for this on the roadmap yet, the best way to get it in front of our product team is to submit a feature request at ideas.ringcentral.com. They prioritize new features based on user votes, so posting it there is the best way to track its progress! 😊
