Google Calendar reminder email

When using RingCentral video meetings it sets up the meeting through our google calendar and sends out notifications just fine. But when setting a reminder email to go out 15 minutes prior to the meeting only the creator of the meeting gets it. Sounds like this is something on Googles end of things but anyone else have a solution for this that they have found to work well? We are a medical office where we have many telehealth appointments per day and we can't send out email reminders manually on these. Thank you!
