I just want to confirm if you are using a standalone app or the RingCentral Unified app?

I was using RingCentral Messages app. Tech support had me install the Unified app. Support lead me down so many steps because nothing they tried worked, however, it's now working, just not exactly sure which step fixed it. Urg.
