Change the custom voicemail on message only extension

I have a message only extension set up already. I previously recorded a custom greeting which worked well but now I need to delete that greeting and use an updated version with new information. When I click to edit the custom message, it only gives me the option to either listen to the current greeting or download it. It doesn’t let me upload or delete. 

How can I get this old greeting off so I can upload the newly recorded greeting?  These are audio pre-recorded greetings so I am not trying to record these in real time. I just need to be able to add the audio file.

@nswalker1229 , if you only see "Listen" or "Download," you're in the Review mode. To replace the file, you need to trigger the Update menu.

How to Upload Your New Greeting

  1. Log in to the Admin Portal and go to Phone System > Groups > Message-Only Extensions.

  2. Select your extension and click the Voicemail & Notifications tab.

  3. Find Voicemail Greeting and click Edit.

  4. The Fix: If it only shows the player, look for a button that says Update or Change. If that’s missing, switch the dropdown from Custom to Default, then back to Custom.

  5. A pop-up will appear with three tabs. Select the Importing tab.

  6. Click Browse to select your new audio file (<20 MB, .mp3 or .wav).

  7. Click Done, then click Save at the bottom of the page.
