EoL Devices Alert

I just jumped into the RC admin portal to check something and was presented with a pop-up alert stating “One or more devices on your account pose a security risk” and goes on about something being end-of-life and posing a security risk. OK, that seems possible.

Then, the message says “To determine if your device is affected...”

So, do I have such a device, or don’t I? You just told me I did, now you want me to figure it out.

The provided link uselessly drops me at the support home page and in no way helps me determine if I have EoL devices, which the pop-up says I have/might have.

So many questions.

Good question, John. Let me dig into this, as I’m not up to speed on this update for customers.
More soon!

Thanks, Becky. The fun part is that we rent all our phones. So if they’re EoL you’re sending us new ones.
The other chuckle is that if this was email our phish filter would probably quarantine it. It’s got all the hallmarks of a phishing message, lol.

Okay, @john-oliphant Many apologies, I’m having someone look into this messaging.

In the meantime, use this link to review your POSSIBLE EoL devices and let me know if you run into any issues.

Well, I love that you have a sense of humor about the whole thing! :)
I’ll share the above with the team as well.
Appreciate you!
