I have 2 numbers assigned to me. How can I forward calls from just 1 number?

Actually, I just figured it out by playing around with things. On the website, you can create a new rule to forward calls coming in to a specific phone number. I just went to “my extension” then “Phone” and clicked on “Add rule” under “Incoming call rules.” I assigned all incoming calls from one of my numbers to another Ring Central number, and those calls forwarded, whereas the calls to my “main” number did not.

    Hi @jenjank,

I need to know a bit about your current setup, as RingCentral handles things differently depending on the device.

    1. What is your primary "answering" device? (Are you using the RingCentral Desktop App, the Mobile App on your personal cell phone, or a physical Desk Phone?)

    2. How do you want to handle the forwarded calls? Do you want them to skip your RingCentral app entirely and go straight to an external mobile number, or should they ring another person's extension?

Nice! Glad you figured it out. It sounds like that workaround did the trick. ✅
