Ring Quantity Change

To help you shorten the number of rings before a call gets forwarded from your desk phone to your mobile, we’ll want to check a few settings in your Call Handling & Forwarding rules.

Before diving in, could you help clarify a few details so I can guide you better?

•  Are you using Call Forwarding or the Call Handling settings under your user extension to send calls to your mobile?
• Should the call ring your desk phone first, then your mobile — or do you want both to ring at the same time?
•  Roughly how many rings or seconds are you aiming for before your mobile starts ringing?
•  Is this for direct calls to your extension, or calls routed from a group like a call queue or auto-receptionist?
•  Do you have access to update your Call Handling settings via the RingCentral app or online portal?
