I want the incoming calls to ring simultaneously, with about 10 in my corporate department.  How do I set that up?

Hi @AJsMom04,

Hello! That's a great question, and I can certainly help.

For a corporate department of about 10 people, the best way to set up simultaneous ringing is to use a Call Queue. This is the recommended solution because it's built specifically for teams and departments.

Here's why a Call Queue is the right choice for your needs:

  • It allows up to 10 members to ring at the same time, which is exactly what you need for your team.

  • It provides advanced features like performance reporting and analytics, which are not available with other options.

  • Your team members can easily turn on or off their availability to receive calls from the queue, which is perfect for when they are in a meeting or away from their desk.

To set this up, you'll need administrative permissions. Assuming you have them, you can create a new Call Queue in the RingCentral Admin Portal. From there, you will add your 10 team members and select the

Simultaneous ringing method.
