Question

call logs and multiple user/time zones

I have several “users” in different time zones across the US and each user is set to their specific time zone in the user details ->settings and permissions ->regional settings. When I review the call logs, all calls are time stamped to the east coast (I am unclear if that is due to my corporate HQ location or my own user location, both east coast). How can I pull call logs so that calls are time stamped in accordance to when they were received at their respective time zones?

Hi @TammyFreeman,

At the moment, this isn’t possible.

While RingCentral lets you set individual timezones for user settings and call handling, Analytics and Performance Reports don’t reflect those local offsets. All call logs in these reports are standardized to the Company/HQ timezone (in your case, East Coast) to maintain a single “master” timeline for the account.

If this is something you’d like to see in the future, you can submit a feature request in our Ideas Portal.
